Yeah i remember there was quite a bit of discussion on the ins and outs of licensing before. Not a topic i would want to step into. Needless to say anyone holding the SDFM/M+/M0 licensing would only serve to keep competition out of macross space and maintain market presense. And i can only thk that it would only serve bandai's purposes to do that. On the YF-19, bandai did a shot over arcadia's bow with the yf-19 prototype last Oct. And then arcadia responded with re-issue. It could be arcadia's last ditch attemp to block bandai at dominating the macross market, probably at the very end of the license. So i can probably conclude as well that any macross licenses floating around, would more than likely be held by bandai. Hmm...so i guess this thread may look like going for a short hiatus on the macross front, until something changes which disproves things..

Am not sure if bandai is being lazy with promotional material or if that's the actual e type altho it's painted like it. I thk the E type had a chopped off tail ie stump as per previous examples shown b4.. I was also wondering if the mecha colle had an E type with radar deployed version. Am quite sure they don't transform based on the price point..

If Arcadia doesn't hv it, who might have it? Of course talking abt the 1/60s..I can only thk of bandai but they are bz with the hmr's...maybe one of the lesser known brands?

No, am referring to bandai's all transforming 1/72 scale frontier kits. In my example i had roy's so the grey comment. With delta, there is so much color in one valk. I read the description on HLJ that the 31 would be molded in color and so am wondering if thats a change bandai is making.

Arcadia normally takes a while to clear, so i think thats pretty normal. However i do thk that frequent re-releases and a high price point, stretch products to be on the shelf a lil longer than usual. I thk the 4G was a nice re-release but the YF-19 seemed a lil too soon. I do however want arcadia to hv a seperate category for lower priced items, as i am not sure if everyone can constantly afford such high pricing.

Hmm I didnt remember the old bandai vf-25's being molded in color, or should i say it only came in grey with stickers. Looks like with the 31 bandai is breaking bandai's own trend (if anyone can correct me) by having it molded in color. I wouldnt knock bandai for that yet, its still only the CAD prototype, designed to get our tails a-wagging.

Thats a few if's, feeling a lil meh with arcadia if thats all it is this year. Still waiting for aracadia to wow us with some annoucements..

Probably bandai's rationale would be that most folks would use the included stand, or that the gears wouldnt be that noticable, due to the jet profile hiding it somewhat while on the ground. I like where kawamori train of thought is going, though in practical essense, bandai's engineers would be looking up at the ceiling and shouting kawamori's name each time a new radical valk comes out. Already i dont expect many would want to have the gears out in fear of scratching the knee cap paint. Unless they have a pivot joint mechanism acting like a suspension and avoids the knee cap to touch the shin. That may be hard to fold back in. +1 for the idea though... One thing am looking forward is the jet profile with the gears out. If it points nose down with the back wheels acting like a suspension spring lifting the back for a aggresive stabce, i thk that would be a really nice ground parked profile. *OUCH* to ET. The promo shot looks good, except for the canopy area which seems a lil fake. But if it is indeed this quality, you get the whole platoon for a bargain! Wish the E could have its radar part on though. And dem panel lines iz amazing mon.

It's certainly giving me ideas to paint, however bad I am at it. That being said, it certainly looks nice and brings out the magic of anime!

Certainly is different, and i wonder if it can be seen partially in the G/B modes. Plus we get to see hayate in his CAD designed valk suit. Didnt realise he has such a volume of hair tho. And that shld be freya in hers..

That sounds real cryptic, like the sound of motobikes revving in the distance? Btw, on the post of picture of prototypes, am not sure if there would be any takers if there arent real solid photo's of prototypes. But i get that if the smaller companies put out less than spectacular pics, probably it would take the wind out of pre-orders. Proabably just a matter of determining if the prototype is of sufficient quality, else dont even display it.

I would think its much easier to implement in pure fighter mode, since hasegawa fighters do not transform. Just a matter of plugging in landing gears, so the proportions should be sleeker.

Its a CAD illustration for the bandai 1/72 model kit. The DX would have the regular front hinged doors.

Am just glad that old favorites still have a chance to be made. If they do well, more from the line would be picked up... However am not glad abt the insane prices that are bound to be listed....
