For prosperity, I shall post the pitch made at 2012 Nickeloden Upfront on March 14, 2012 at the Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York: (Yeah, Dailymotion doesn't work with media tags.)Robbie Rist (VA of Michelangelo in the original movies) also posted his response earlier today... I'll let you gents read the TMZ version of it since I can't find the letter. EX-NINJA TURTLES ACTOR, Michael Bay is 'Sodomizing' the TMNT Legacy Yeah, I'm beyond caring....

Apparently people do watch giants robots spinning and more explosions and jumping and more explosions and camera shake and more explosions and slow pans and more explosions and Victoria Secret models playing lead actress' roles and more explosions and Bay-slopsions and more explosions... Yeah, it hasn't been green-lit and I feel like my un-eaten lunch is coming back up... BTW: Michael Bay's response to TMNT fandom's call for his head on a pike

Yes, those Yammies and Bandai kits don't sell themselves. (Honestly, if they did Gundam Evolve-type shorts for Macross toys, I'd be all over those.)

The computer and electronics super geek thread

I sense a lack of google-fu and wiki-fu. Let me save you the trouble. Ubuntu is one of many Linux OS distributions. Unlike Microsoft's Windows or Apple's Mac OS, where a single company is resonpsible for releasing an OS, Linux is a free and open-source (meaning the source code, is avaliable on the webs). Since the code is available for free, many individuals and groups have created their own modifications or distribution of the Linux OS. They all use the same basic core Linux OS, but each have their own modifications (hardware and software support, software packages, user interface, etc.). So no, it's not an operating system, but a modified version of an operating system. -
That's it. If there's a strong showing, they may consider putting up elsewhere. Otherwise, that's it. Unless Bandai says they'll take care of it and put it in their theme park (Kotaku).

Wow. Professional contract. Wow. Anybody heading to Japan at that time should probably block out those dates. ONLY PART? OK, I get the height limitations, but PART? Can they at least do a 1:1 full VF-25? In fighter mode? It's only 19m long, 16 m wide and ~5 m tall with the landing gear out. That could fit, right?!?!?!?

I'm old fashion but I prefer a physical copy since downloading can take forever and I don't want x-GB installation files taking room on my hard drives. Yep, especially when you're trying to figure out what a component is from the list of drivers. -
If they let the guys participate and they sing some Fire Bomber, you might have a good show. IF they sound good.

They're not as consumer friendly as Newegg. Trying to get info out of them for a product I wanted to buy was like pulling new teeth out. If you can avoid customer service, great. Otherwise, they're no better or worst than any other retailer. Another good thing is I can get gift certificates for TigerDirect. -
Didn't Tom Bateman mention that HG made enough money from the sales of RTSC to move forward with a sequel, and yet here we are how many years later? Yeah, I'm not sure about that marketing research-comment either.

I think Kotaku summed it up best...

Silly boy. Just wait till it actually comes out. It's not a MW toy thread till the actual toy complaints come. "Oh it's not tampo." "This part gets loose." "OMG! <small random part> explodes after X-transformations."

Well, technically a "black" Nick Fury is right...in the Marvel Ultimates-world. And if the characterization of Nick Fury is consistent with his comic-counterpart, then technically, it's "right".

UK Trailer: And BTW, to avoid any confusion with a certain TV series, the UK-title for the movie is Avengers Assemble. Those of you in the UK should be aware of that. Those looking for HD: http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/marvel/avengers/
