    Does anyone think that it is ironic that Nora gives Sara hell for hesitating to sing the song of destruction because her hesitation is going to "cost lives"...Yet singing the song of destruction will cost far more lives? I think it is a little hypocritical. OR am I missing something? Another question, this one regarding the YF-19. If its semi fixed energy cannons are on the wing roots, what are the tubular looking things on either side of the chest on battroid mode? I always thought they looked like gattling cannons, but mecha manual says they are not weapons...What are they then? They are exposed on the underside of the plane in fighter mode, almost like mini gattling pods. any guesses?

    No, he is right, there is a neck shield. Press the antenna/ head laser back and it pops out enough for you to use a fingernail to pull it out the rest of the way. Doesn't completely cover everything up, but is does make it look a bit more sleek in fighter mode. Other then the gullet in fighter mode and it being a touch fiddly, I am a big fan of the current design...With that being said I pre-ordered the Kai It don't agree that the new one is a parts former though. None of the extra parts are necessary for transformation, just optional if you want to use them. By that logic a VF-1 2.0 is a parts former because it comes with optional anime hands I like the extras personally, if you don't like them you don't have to use them.

    Don't forget the helmet/blast shield (admittedly low maintenance)...though as to why it needs one in battroid and not fighter mode is anyone's guess.

    This would be quite true I suppose. Take off the broken SAP, put on a new one while you repair the old. No need to keep a plane out of the fight while doing repairs.

    When is Harmony Gold going to go bankrupt? I mean, they can't possibly be making money anymore. Maybe we at MW could buy them out and donate the rights back to Big West with the understanding that they have to start marketing and releasing in North America (hey, a man has gotta have a dream). Really though, how does Harmony Gold still have money? Do people really buy enough Robotech merchandise to keep them going? I just can't believe it.

    At what point do they decide to build larger primary engines? Like hmmm, we need 6 extra thrusters to keep up to these vajra, maybe its time for new reaction engines... "No, no, no, there is still space on the wing, just add another pair of boosters". They had time to design a new anti varja plane right? (I haven't seem the movie, just a guess), you would figure they could design some more powerful engines too...

    Oooh double strike....Good answer. Depends on the purpose would be my answer. For Large hard targets like Warships and Carriers Reaction warheads and double strike would be the way to go. If I was strictly fighting fighters I would want 4X micro missile pods underwing and 2X micro missile pylons on the boosters. IMO

    OK, this is probably gonna draw upon Seto again (seems to be the Macross 2 expert). I recently put together a bandai VF-2SS I had bought. This made me do some reading into it more then the superficial level I previously had. 1) Am I to believe the only armament the VF-2SS has without the SAP installed is two head lasers? 2) Why make the SAP detachable at all if that is the case? At least the VF-11 had a cannon as well as a laser 3) If the medium rail gun is stored in the left SAP arm unit, are the attack bits stored in the right side? If not, what is? Now that I have handle this a little bit I really hope yamato makes one. I really like the design alot more now that I have built one.

    Both my shoulders came cracked, I have still transformed and played with it multiples times and love it. Shoulders have not broken off yet. I really like mine, it is so unique and really comes alive once you decal it a bit. I would say buy it for sure. if you are concerned, keep it in fighter and half gerwalk, still looks amazing. I think i will go play with mine now.

    Well, I have been trying to mostly stay away from the Macross Frontier stuff after a bad experience with an VF-25S GBP Ozma, but I couldn't resist a couple of sales I saw and now have a Mac Quarter and Alto Ex-Gear coming. I am looking forward to them. Can go with my non-scale VB-6.

    I ran into this once before. Minus the crappy music it looks to be macross, but what is it from? Graphics look like VOXP opening video, but it isn't.

    Someone more knowledgeable might be of better help, but you could try pulling the leg off and tightening the screw, but more then likely you will have to coat the joint in nail polish or super glue then re-assemble the leg around it. Try asking in the How to Fix part of the toy forum.

    Not specifically M7 hate, just Basara "dislike". I cannot think of anyone in the Macross universe I like less; however, this looks like a great toy and since Yamato has given me the ability to cover up one of my least favorite parts ( the zombie/ geisha lips) it makes it much easier for me to get this one. I already have the other Mac 7 valks and I am a bit of a completionist so I am glad I can jump on the early adopter bandwagon. I did it with Bandai's VB-6 and the new SDF 1/3000 and I don't regret it. Besides, you never know, maybe having an awesome copy of his Valk will make me like him more? I do hope it sells well because M7 is still largely an untapped resource and high sales could get us some of the others things we have been craving VF-11C Protect, Blazer Valk (probably gonna happen) and VFs-17 super nightmare (probably gonna happen too), but maybe even a star mirage and VF-1 whale hunter too. I don't think an invader or VF-14 would ever happen though.
