Well, before this gets moved to the newbie section, perhaps someone can fill me in on what the purpose of the tips of the booster packs are for in the GBP. On the Super Packs those are missile Pylons but when I looked in the Mecha Manual, there are no missile pylons featured on the GBP and I don't see any exit holes for the missiles in the art. So it begs the question (from my point of view at least), if the pylons don't have missiles in them, what are they there for?

Is the plane mode of the VF-17 really that small? It is longer then the thunderbolt and had a larger wingspan. YF-21/19 are longer, but the 17 has a larger wing span then the 19. Smaller I guess, but not really VF-1 compact though

Ok...I bought the Angolz YF-19 package renewal. My experience with these things is that if I buy right the first time(I.E YF-19 instead of Double Nuts)even if I pay a little more now, I will save in the long run by not having a figure I don't really want and then having to re-buy the one I wanted in the first place. Not that the Doubles Nuts is a bad figure (Far from it), I just need to complete the Mac Plus Triad and I can't do that with the Double Nuts. Now, off to work some overtime to pay for all this (amazing) junk.

Hi everyone. I recently won a bid for a package renewal YF-19 on Evil-bay. Turned out that even though seller had multiple thousand buyers with high feedback, he did not return messages and sent me a bogus tracking number (about twenty days after he was supposed to ship). He is now no longer an E-bay member and I opened a case and won my money back. Here is the tracking number CD056678889JP, perhaps I am not checking it right. A number only 1 digit away was shipped when I got the E-mail. Perhaps it was entered wrong? I really would like a YF-19 but at the premium the package renewals are going for at the moment I am not sure I can stomach the prices. So my question is this, even during this month, the seller had received some positive feedback and if he was going to completely rip me off, why send a tracking number at all (and one that has numbers dated close to when he says it was shipped?)? How long does Non-EMS take to North America? When should I truly give up? Parts of me says wake up, don't expect it to come, move on and buy another one. Another part of me doesn't want to be stuck with essentially a copy of a toy I already have. I am looking at the Angolz YF-19 Double Nuts as a possible substitute, and I wanted to know what you guys thought (probably going to tell me to buy it because you are a bunch of enablers...) thanks for the input jay

I initially disagreed with this statement as most people probably would, but then as I thought about the transformation, it seems complicated because we aren't used to it. 1)Arms drop straight down, (VF-0's arms are tucked inside and have to turn out) 2)Legs drop straight down (Same as VF-0) 3)Head position stays in relatively the same position during the transformation, just pops up (VF-0 has to flip up from the underside through a hole) 5)The cockpit area of the fighter could really be described as the only complicated part of the tansformation and all it is doing is rotating to put the pilot out of harms way. Not a whole lot worse then how the head has to fold up then the body folds in half on the VF-0. 6)The Wings fold up neatly, as do the VF-0's, though the VF-0 is definitely easier here. I do however disagree that the SV-51 has alot more kibble though. SV-51 wing kibble is just above the shoulders where the VF-0 wing kibble is below the butt (and therefore not as easily seen from the front). If you leave the missiles off in battroid, the wings are mostly out of the way, even with one set of missile pods on it is still relatively neat. However, if you add a set of missile pods to the VF-0 in battroid mode, then you will see some wing kibble! I make no excuses for the VF-25 though, its like it has a Beta fighter still attached to its back after it transforms to battroid!

I don't have any Mac 7 toys, and even though I would pass on the Blazer and Kai, I would definitely buy a Yamato VF-17.

What does the re-release/ package renewal schedule look like?

My anniversary Roy has the old hip lock and tinted canopy but fixed shoulders...I love him. He may be my favorite valk. I don't think The rainbow is a problem (I like it on my 11B as well), but if you must have a clear canopy then you will have to wait, and who knows for how long. Anyone know a good source for a VE-1? speaking of DYRL valks.

Have any of you enterprising individuals ever considered making a YF-19 FAST pack arm unit? http://www.macross2.net/m3/macrossplus/yf-19/yf-19-weapon.gif Probably lots of work, but it could use the gunpod slot and shield slot to clip into...Man that would be badass. Anything that can one shot a Monster is ok in my books. If I knew anything about resins and molding I would try. Yamato should make that and a rocket booster pack for the 11B as an accessories pack together with the X-9. Dream big eh?

I used to think this until I realized what they were going for with its design. I think it was made to look like a classic WW1 area machine gun such as the Lewis gun, or more probably the Russian Degtyarev DP DPM RP-46 http://world.guns.ru/machine/mg34-e.htm I suppose that doesn't change the way it looks but at least I can appreciate the design choice which makes me like it more.

I have a question...While Vtol fans are great and cool on the SV-51, does any plane with a Gerwalk mode really need these? I suppose they may add some thrust to Battroid and some maneuvering to fighter... As a VTOL mechanism though it seems as though this would be pointless.

In a different universe, where the SV-51 and VF-0 were competing against each other as designs, and not on opposite sides of a war (like Project Supernova) what design do you think would have come out on top and why? I will stir the pot and start the debate by suggesting the SV-51 because of its close quarters battle advantage given by the periscope.

I am happy to hear this, I have a VF-1J 1/60 GBP ordered through them I also have a SV-51 Ivanov coming in through Locus HK...I know the Ivanov is not without its problems, but damn, if you are only going to have only one SV-51 paint scheme...

I am in your camp. Admittedly, when I first saw Zero I hated it but seeing the yamato model in the various modes and then watching transformation videos gave me a new appreciation for this VF, now it is one of my favorite designs in all modes.

No 1/60 GBP, or VF-25S armoured? And you call that a collection..... j/k, that is an astounding collection and it looks like minus Max and Milia, none of your valks wear FAST packs. I on the other hand am a sucker for fast packs (even the silly Mac plus ones, though the fold booster is cool)
