    I'm sure most of us are old enough or know enough pop culture to have gotten the joke. I hate that plot device so much. I think it was Family Guy that put it so succinctly: "It's like a big middle finger in your face." I happened to be watching the last Twilight movie at a hotel a few years ago. I WAS CURIOUS. They did the same kind of lazy writing and I literally yelled at the TV when the big reveal was made. What a sh*t movie.

    Goddammit. Stop wasting money and time and just give us a new series, please. Did Delta actually do well enough to warrant a movie??? I'm just shocked.

    My long search came to an end last Thursday, as my pre-ordered Switch was delivered. It's awesome. The portability of the system is incredible, although it looks like the display is interlaced. However, I can't really complain... it has a lot of horsepower for such a small device. BotW is amazing. I can't wait to get MK8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2.

    Well, you guys are making it sound like Frontier was borderline ecchi... which is not even close to the case. Yes, the panty episode was ridiculous. But if all you saw was the *ahem* "fan service", then you must have been looking for it where it isn't found. I don't like fan service, either. But Frontier is soooo tame compared to the anime standard. There ARE 24 other episodes, you know.

    I do like the new design. However, I also liked the old Gipsy Danger design, where the robot looked like a colossal, beefed-up, football linebacker. VERY 'Murica. frakk yeah. edit: I didn't know the forum automatically edits the f-word.

    Yes, this was a concept discussed in the video I referenced in my last post. This trend will encourage more people to simply watch bootlegged fansubs, instead of paying a subscription fee. That fee, in part, goes to the production studios so they can continue to create new content.

    Looks like my search for a Switch may finally come to an end. Found out that Thinkgeek was selling systems bundled with Zelda-related merch. Snapped up a pre-order. Now, I just have to wait until they confirm my shipment, which should start on July 18th. Pray for me!

    Yeah, I'd chalk this up to overthinking. Or actually, you noticed a bit of an oversight by the animators. The exhaust should be supersonic, which means that the total temperature will be extremely high.

    I agree with the assessment that there's really nothing going on this summer season. I may suspend my CR sub until fall. Mother's Basement on YouTube made an interesting video that pretty much confirmed my worst fears about Amazon entering into the anime market. I already pay for Netflix and CR. I sure as hell am not going to spend MORE on Anime Strike. I already pay for Amazon Prime. I think they should include their anime service for that kind of loyalty. With all the good shows split among so many providers, many shows are not going to reach their popularity potential because they're all behind unique pay walls. This sucks...

    I'm probably gonna pick it up as soon as it drops. These past few days, I've been fighting the temptation to play XCOM2 all the way through for the 3rd time.

    I'm looking forward to this, but does anyone know if it's a continued storyline from the original campaign, or an upgrade to the existing story... like what Enemy Within was for XCOM 1?

    I actually agree with this launch methodology. This seems like the most cost-effective way to get small payloads into orbit. I am curious, though, why they didn't connect the tails together to give the entire structure more rigidity. Maybe they figured the payload would have adverse effects on aerodynamic surfaces, but that still shouldn't keep them from simply using it for structure reinforcement. Those wing spars between the two fuselages must be beefy as hell to resist torquing between the two bodies.

    Watching Re:Creators has influenced me to rewatch Aldnoah Zero, since they have the same animation studio and composer. Same top-notch production quality and that music.... wow.

    Yeah, Zero and SST shared some musical queues. I immediately noticed this the first time I watched Zero. SST came first, so I'm not sure what the story is behind the scoring for Zero.

    Alright, I'm losing it. I've been waiting with the patience of a saint for stock to return to store shelves, but either production has not ramped up at all or the vultures are still picking off the stock as soon as it pops up. Or maybe both. So frustrating. I bookmarked some stock tracking websites that can check all of the stores in my area with the click of a button. Handy! However, do you guys have any suggestions on finding them without having to call and ask every damn store? Didn't Amazon have some kind of special deal for Prime members some time ago? I'm finishing my master's this week and I need something to help me forget everything I learned. Help a brotha out!
