My VF-1A showed up, it's tight... scary tight to transform for the first time... none of my other HMR have been that tight in the tolerances. It's so pretty... I'm having so much fun zooming it around the room I almost don't want to put the Supers on it... but I can't leave them in the box........... damn you Bandai... now I'm gonna have to go get some CF VF-1As...

I've never payed that much for one kit... it's awesome to be sure, but I'm not ready for one of your .gifs quite yet on this one... Personally I'd rather Wait and see if they offer a Stripped-down and cheaper Fighter-mode or a Strike+Fighter-mode... would've expected that or battroid first. and tbh, I'm a little miffed that for that price they don't seem to have put extra parts in for to parts-form between [the two obvious] modes, or at least to choose one mode or the other... This is the price of 5 of Tamiya's 1/32 Jewels... and I'm not even seeing positional wingflaps, not even an attempt at Yamato's level of detail inside a 1/60 Superpack thruster... and this means I'm expected to have to buy 3 of these to get all three modes doesn't it... maybe I'm being spoiled by my growing HMR collection

indeed... I'm hoping they release fighter-mode or at least a non-gerwalk Strike as stand-alone kits... if we're going to have to buy a $400 dollar kit and end up leaving large volumes of plastic in the box, no matter how we assemble it, this'll be a "wait 'till a great deal pops up" item for me...

So it may really be that stock is slow/limited because Bandai may be encountering/dealing with the clear-coat [or some other] QC issue? Fascinating... the '31A canopies are clearer tint like the '31F, while the J and C are more opaque, are they not? I have a '31C, so I can vouch for it being foggy and wanting a canopy replacement... maybe the foggy canopies are also a clear-coating issue... Also: what Kind of pod comes with a '31A? same as the rest [drone charger thingy/mounting the big gun]? or is it different?

Ah well, we can't miss out on something that never existed I guess, eh?... best of both worlds if they release delta platoon in supers, and armours, then put out just the packs.

nah, I'll take some strike and armoured packs, then they can repop the '31A again. Besides, I'm collecting the Tenjin artbooks, so I'll get the boxart either way!lol

Why would one necessarily lower the nose for a cat shot? plenty of evidence indicates that isn't the only way: the F-5 extends it's nosegear for takeoffs, leaving it nose-high when starting it's roll [I'm just learning her in DCS, I never knew the F-5 did that until last weekend...]. the Buccaneer gets launched nose-up, and so did the RN's Phantoms... for comparrison: I think she'll sit just fine for a cat-shot, if the above press-photo of the kit is accurate. [rear ventral fins are an obvious issue] EDIT: so I posted all that, then realised immediately: A) the Phantom didn't use a shuttle-cat B) that you'd compress the nose-gear with a US-style shuttle launcher for the strongest possible configuration during all that stress... but I stand by my "a nose-high attitude is fine" statement... lol the F-4 took off nose-high, so the VF-4 should too!

please release armoured and/or super packs as separate items in future Hasegawa, for me? While you're at it, how about some more Macross weapons and pylons in general! Take My Money!!! Or at least have the heart to include multiple head options in the Super/Armoured kits @KOG Water Dragon just mentioned? I'm not buying all of Delta platoon again just to get some superpacks... but if they released a Armoured/Super-31A...

I hope he didn't bend the airframe... ...

I'm only buying the '29 if it's the "last battle" version with canards... I have plenty of mig-29's otherwise... .... but Shin's tomcat in 1/60... they'd get me with that one for sure!

I think he means that the line measuring 22.1mm should not proceed all the way to the end of the arm [where it does], but in the middle of the slot for the pin [ie: it should terminate at the same point you are referencing for your 40.4mm measurement] Like this I think:

much like DYRL is a re-interpretation/retelling of the events of SDFM I assume... and the Movie version vs. the 4-part OVA of Macross Plus new tech, so more toys/kits, and a condensed and hopefully improved plot. Apparently that red Ba is Mirage's ... haven't seen it though, so I'm unaware of an explanation other than [Ork]"Red'ns go FASTA!"

It's so Zeon, but so Macross... She's a beauty! What's it called? is she a Gunboat or a Special forces craft? that use-to-was a 1/100 VF-2SS +SAP, plus some greeblies, yes? Very nice!

That specific one was OOP, yes. Yay, a Ba that'll come with lil' Drakens and Missile packs! [I hope... thankfully I hadn't pulled the trigger on any of the Ba's that're on the gouging markets of the 'net] J, C and A... Looking forward to having the complete flight... good to see Messer's up [2nd best Fighter mode head, too bad it looks so buggy in Battroid] but do CHUCK'S NEXT Hasegawa! come on! we need more giant Ray-domes in our Macross collections! [Then some VF-171's please!] it's also that it looks like we'll get a '31 with Drakens before Fastpacks...

They can't not make a 'regular' edition, they can only make $800,000 off the special ed. since it's limited to 1000 pcs... they stand to make alot more than that when they release a complete discs-only version.
