I think you nailed the Aircraft Ident F-ZeroOne. As far as I'm aware, no British-designed bombers got a full-blown belly turret, Lancs and other Avro designs had their Radar and/or Jamming equipment in that ventral dome. Some Brit bombers had "Ventral Turrets"... but nothing as effective [or pant-soiling] as the Sperry Ball-Turrets on the '17s and '24s

I find using coarse sanding pads/sticks/sandpaper works best, as you get curls/scours of resin instead of dust. but dust sized particles are unavoidable, so still wear a mask as Arbit suggests... I should wear mine more often...

Indeed, the only other ordinance Hase has released re: Macross are the included missiles in the VF-25 kits, and certain kits with different gunpods

Looking at the opening of the show, I don't think the SSM offering is accurate to the Prometheus [but I admit, I don't recall the JBD design from the show proper] Nor is it accurate to the DYR:L? Game intro [@ 0:55 looks like the JBD is right off a Nitmitz]... but THAT version of Prometheus gets cut in half by the orbiting Zentradi, so YMMV... I wouldn't get the SSM one for "accuracy", but I like it none-the-less.

Sweet! More in-service VF-1D!! She's a beaut NZEOD. Great little carrier scene... gotta love the "Hurry up and wait" Someone bring the flight-crew a colouring-book! Not often you see electric green on an active duty bird... no 'Liberace' gold canopy? [anyone know how one could replicate that effect? iridescent paint? or modifying/mixing a Tamiya clear?]

Conversion rates being what they are, any little bit will help. via HLJ the std. SDF-1 will run me $440Canadian, a premium would run about $730; which is simply unacceptable when shipping and customs added on......

they did Hayate's D05, Mirage's D04, Chuck's is D03... I see a pattern that the boxart also alludes to... and since Japanese is read right-to-left... so yea, my hopes are up as well. Think they'll actually give us an option to deploy the sensor-dish? or cop-out on us and just provide it folded-and-Stowed?

Thanks for the responses guys! so, do we know, or do we think, they'll issue a kit of the SDF-1 from this run? I'd love a 1/3000, especially a premium ver., but if there's a run of kits I'd rather save the money and paint/assemble it myself...

so I've seen Yamato VF-1 and Arcadia VF-0 Armour kits... they seem to be a cheaper alternative to buying a finished version, and allow for customization more readily, but I have several questions: Are these resin or plastic? how do the joints hold up vs actual finished products? and most importantly: are they going to kit the 1/3000 SDF-1, and if so where do I lurk to get my hands on one?

HS usually seems to have restock notifications out faster than hlj... for example PLATZ is re-isuing their entire resin 1/72 yukikaze line, and HS had pre-orders for all of it, hlj just has the Mave... $.02 for what it's worth. I got 4 VF-31As from the first run, so I'm good.
