    i think the elbow area is black or blackish, also i think you said some of the wheels are black painted silver where the rims are if i'm not mistaken. anyway it seems obvious why those leg parts are not blue now. there were no new blue molded plastics so they used the colors they were shooting for most of the rest anyway (other than the red)...its likely in the same tooling as the rest of the grey parts on the toy. i forgot to ask, i assume the g1 trailer is not compatible with the ER prime right? i really hope toyhax comes out with a set for this guy that includes the trailer and the yellow parts on the figure.

    Mike, thanks a ton for the ER Prime review. It looks like a very nice figure but with many compromises - probably due to hitting price points at the level of quality expected. Some strange choices include the fact that they are clearly molding black plastic for portions of the figure so the tooling that contained those could have contained the parts for the ion rifle and the area of the trailer where the rear wheels are (or they could be dark blue like the support bars on teh g1 trailer were...nothing was grey underneath on the G1). also the yellow paint missing from the center crotch piece is kind of a "really hasbro?". the mix and match wheels (not matching) on the cab are disappointing, as is the totally grey drone thing....which should be dark blue or at least prime's leg blue. Also where do prime's inside lower legs go? does it need to be grey? seems like there is no reason for it to be grey...again....odd choices. i kind of think that we're gonna see an earthrise leader prime - netflix addition next year to coincide with the second season...because it seems those releases have $10 additioanl budget mainl for "deco ops" (deco operations i assume) and his one is handicapped by just a few deco missteps. either way i'm gonna get it and enjoy ir for a year before a better deco one comes out. lol. speaking of future releases... -ER Starscream....well he out but I haven't found him yet but i'm ordering him. -Netflix Mirage was preordered with the quickness by me. such a nice redeco of a mostly decent mold. -Runamuck.....is a MUST HAVE for me (something about evil decepticon cars i love)...got to think Runabout can't be far behind - maybe the wave after....hopefully it is retooled to have a different alt mode as they were different in G1 too. -Sky Lynx looks amazing and will probably get him, but not preordering him if i can control myself. short of MMC's, this is by far the best effort so far on that character. -Netflix hotlink - gonna grab that too. its a nice deco and i could use a tetrajet (haven't picked one up yet though i may pick up a TC on sale) -Netflix MAgnus Spoiler pack - interested in this, never picked up siege magnus (want him to go on sale dammit!) and this might be teh cooler version...also wonder if there will be an ER magnus with a g1 alt mode (my personal wishlist)..my only qualms are that the aftermarket kits might not color match well with a new version (though i suppose they might make anoether version if there is demand) -allicon....bot looks good but it looks very lazy design wise - probably skip unless i happen ona clearance -quintesson - probably will pick it up at some point though....does it transform? (g1 cartoon never had an alt mode) -arcee - not too bad for a mainline figure...i've changed my mind - its looks good enough that it'll probably be better than the old one...it does partsform badly though. sculpting here looks really good though - will probably cave and pick it up. scrapface - yeah not buying a reflector repaint thats just 1/3 a relfector. snapdragon - no attachment to this character but a robot that turns into a sort of an SR-71ish space jet and a dinosaurish thing..pretty cool - but i wonder if they will redeco it more appealing later...this g1 deco is just not great. had the same thoughts for kfc kingzilla but at that price wasn't willing to take teh plunge.

    i think anyone who cared bought an extra hall of armor and stuck revoltech's version in there. granted i have one and never stuck it in the hall. yeah i probably don't need the SHF one although i'll say it looks decent, but not a whole lot better (if any) than the old revoltech....i'm happy with what i got but i'm sure some missed it and would be happy to add this for completeness.

    sky lynx looks really good. up there with their jetfire release last year and maybe even better (well if you like sky lynx .... i'm so so on him but this is looking like a great toy). wonder how big it will be. yesterday i saw it being called commander class like jetfire (whose ovearll mass would not be large enough for a big skylynx), but today its ultimate? either way it needs to be more massive than jetfire was i think. . wonder how it wills scale with the potp predaking (Which is titan class), as they were seemingly arch enemies IIRC. if its too small to go with that, maybe i can make my feral rex relvant again by having them fight? haha

    ah you got a hookup at KC? nice. i didn't think it was released yet. how is it? way different than the VF-1S (Which felt like they tried very hard to copy yamato and then do their own thing but tolerances werent' great with some things to tight and some things too loose). this time it seems they've made some DX chogokin version like inspired design changes... agree with previous poster...that at least photos better than an HMR. i don't like the sculpting as much as yamato/arcadia or bandai but the pre applied panel lining is decent if not a big overwrought. does it have the "waist swivel"?

    the red one is so nice to look at. its ok to handle too. i'm gonna go out on a limb and say they are a tiny bit underrated by those here. i had an extra red one and kinda regret selling it (at very small profit) last year. anyway excited to see and handle the sentinel version. hopefully its a great toy. the evolution toys ones have a nice sculpt and more shelf presence than any other legioss. when i post them to IG they seem to do well in getting likes. lol i'm really looking forward to the new transformation changes on the sentinel though.

    best modern hasbro tf line until probably siege but its a tie i think. FE prime is aces (i have the takara too and i think its up there with best voayers figures ever)! so was bulkhead. i have a case of first edition deluxes i never got to opening though.... vehicon RID version, and wheeljack are among my fav deluxes ever.

    while i never had astrotrain as a kid, someone at school did and i fiddled with it a bit so there is some nostalgia there. i did have blitzwing (which they totally need to do because having one without the other like i did as a kid makes you want the other lol). that said $50ish bucks for this seems a bit high...i never got around to getting soundwave (so if anyone did and doesnt' want it anymore i'd take that off your hands for a fair price!)...and i think astrotrain might be a "if i see him and he is discounted i'll get him but dunno about plunking down full retail for it." thanks for the link though

    *sigh* gonna need that roy, misa, and minmei qipao version. i sigh because i want it but I know these (and for that matter SH figuarts and the like) figures might be good but objectively speaking you can get a lot more toy for the money elsewhere in toy collecting, but none will scratch the same itch. now that these will exist....the itch must be scratched.

    to be honest the floating head neck thing doesn't look too bad. its got a more toon presence than willis...not sure if that is a positive thing for me but it is for some people. its got a more reasonable scaled alt mode than willis, and a touch better overall in vehicle mode. i'm not going to replace willis because willis pretty damn good still and $120 could better be spent elsewhere in this hobby (IMO), but if we get a redeco as a toy hound or detritus (love g1 repaints) I may pick it up. i don't feel like i'm missing much i guess is the whole thing here. haha.

    looks like they corrected her height. lol completely new mold/different body/frame whatever its called. gotta get it. either this or the episode 1 outfit is the one i would have preferred first.

    kinda nice. wonder how close to the photo it looks. i thought about springing for the sh figuarts one but its a lot of $ for one figure, a throne and some background statues (the imperial guards are not articulated so far as i can tell). if one were to get this, and two ~$15 black series imperial guards you could be all set on the emperor...although those cloth robes on the imperial guards don't look as nice as the static figs on the SHF.

    so i am weak after seeing the recent photos... and since i already have the first 2 and amazon jp still has stock....i've decided i'm gonna complete the trio and then also get fuke. thanks guys! haha. now i got to make myself be OK with JUST the blue legioss (and tled if they go for it). bandai makes it easy to not buy additional stuff after beign lucky enough to snag a DXC VF-1J because well preorders with them suck and i don't like aftermarket prices on dx chogokins. sentinel is going to require more self control. lol

    i bet its mp-44 minus the trailer and all the other extra parts etc...redeco'd as per usual black prime/nemesis prime for a more reasonable price (say ~$200). if its a truly new mold like scourge from RiD, i'd be surprised and a little dismayed they are doing even more non G1 stuff (despite how that design looks like it could be from g1). fans hobby better get rid of that stock quick (they are having black friday sale with black g2 prime discounted heavily btw. haha)

    i doubt the stands come off the same "trees" (aka made in the same molds) that the parts for the actual toy are. There is no reason to do that unless you want them to be the same material or their inclusion is "free" (well some extra machining in the molds) from a mold size standpoint. yes, there are material issue with most clear plastics but those are easily solved during the design phase if you know the application the stand is designed for (not the case for most action stands from bandai for instance as they are generically for things of a certain size)....or you can just make it stout as hell and not worry. i don't mind the connection point being colored plastic as sometimes the connectin points are sometimes tiny and they need to transmit the load to the armature....but IMO there is no excuse from a materials standpoint for the bulk of the armatures to not be clear. i mean i have some yeti stands that will probably work (they are obviusly cut out of thick solid acrylic and not molded to shape so i'm not using this as an argument in the "it can be done" part of this post) , assuming he makes some adaptors.....but i only have 3 yeti stands in my entire collection...they are pricey and obviously not included with the toy. lol.

    its great that it comes with a stand...but why can't companies make the stands clear? black plastic only looks good if your background is black or your display cabinet is black/dark. FFS companies...clear stands already works for everyone, and every background, and every display cabinet...so we can pretend the thign is actually in the air instead of on some black plastic armature.

    well thats not happening for me, but it looks like a lot of thought and consideration and love were put into this design. kinda doubt it'll be better overall than a dx chogokin vf-1...although i'm biased since the Vf-1 is still my #1 mech of all time. Also, I wish these were the size of Evolution toys legioss, and not the toynami/aoshima ones but i guess i can be thankful it as it might have cost a whole lot more at the evolution toys 1/32 scale (which btw is just slightly taller than a 1/60 vf-1 in soldier/battroid mode...though a lot bulkier). still, hope this will be "best legioss ever!"...which it has the chance of being despite my personal preference for the overall proprotions and scultping of evolution toys' legioss' soldier mode.. also, thanks to all who answered on the currency feedback on amazon jp. i went with yen and taking the gamble that the rate will be more favorable when the card gets charted 7 months from now. lol. also i agree...if it were NY...i always use yen becomes their conversion rate is not friendly at all! haha.

    as soon as i saw the photos in my social media feed i knew that resistance was futile. amazon.jp PO placed! (btw do most here order in yen or usd?) he legioss is that design that draws me in again and again. yes it has a big head and its a little too squat for me, but GODDAMN it looks good...especially the fighter mode. The downward sloping wings look good actually, although its a little too much i think....also not sure how that would look with the tlead attached if they make it. wonder if it can go one "click" up to even? can anyone photoshop that head smaller? i know its a niche market but i hope somebody will make a smaller head for this guy

    that terrified zentran is iconic though! it'd be cool to get any zentradi done well, maybe the 3 spies? haha..not at the current price point though. i also like the macross city mayor guy . in terms of what i'd actually really get (since it might get made)....rick in his orange firest episode suit would be great. max, mirrya, ben, claudia,...gloval, breetai, exedore. tahts already a very big collection compared to whats been previously announced or release din any other line and i'd be happy to have those. also i kinda wish they'd make the boxes smaller...like sh figuarts does for their star wars figures etc. rick's box si pretty big for whats included, same for minmay.

    i'll probably get it, but KC if you're listening...roy fokker was way more tanned...also the face sculpts look a bit off. the default face is too stern/angry. also he's bit too tall.
