  1. I do. It was my first ever HT fig. Why do you ask?
  2. 47 seems to to be the least affected by this, although they gave him a really weird sculpt. He looks like his clothes shrunk in the washing machine.
  3. 1/4th? Don't really see the need for such a large figure; 1/6 scale is the perfect size for displayin without taking up too much space, AFAIC. Maybe HT's looking to milk the Batman license of all it's worth.
  4. Cyborg Raiden's looking good. Mr. 47 looks tempting, but his suit looks too tight, and the shoulders look too wide.
  5. Looking at the 1/1 scale Tumbler, I have to ask: where is that damn cannon Batman used to blow off the barrier wall on the parking lot in Batman Begins, and Gordon used to blow up the water tower pillars? I do see what look like dual machine guns on the sides of the "cockpit" between the wheels, though. That said, no matter how many times I look at it, it's still an awesome looking machine.
  6. IF there's a next season.
  7. Oh, that's a brilliant strategy. Cancel the one game your customers have been asking for for years. We'll definitely be lapping up whatever swill you've got in store for us in the future, especially games with endings we have to buy separately as a DLC. Rock on, Squeenix!
  8. I agree. For the first time ever, I actually prefer the English VA to the original Japanese version. I felt the English VA's sounded more appropriate for the characters, especially Rosie, whose English VA had a deeper, more mature voice to go with her somewhat abrasive personality. Hell, even the VA they did for Hans (yeah, that flying piglet) was better than the Japanese one. Only thing I didn't like was Welkin calling Isara, "Is." Yeah, it's a real pity. Would have looked forward to a sequel or two. I wonder what happened.
  9. I don't suppose those accessories are included? Although I do spot several item that didn't come with the HT figs, like that nunchaku-looking thing on the bottom right of the left main display. Either way, it looks awesome.
  10. I'd buy these as more affordable versions of the HT figs, but then they wouldn't be able to sit in the 1/6 scale Tumbler or Bat-pod. Nice-looking figs, though.
  11. Me too. I'm glad its a no-frills version (not that Bane seems to have any noticeable gadgets in the trailers; he's basically a weapon in and of himself.) Didn't feel like getting it first, but the trailers and the BTS videos sold me. Seems Bane is much more than just a mindless brute in TDKR. Agreed. There's no way I could believe a martial artist like Lee could get his ass whooped by a kid in a fruity costume.
  12. Remake? As in a new anime based on the original plot?
  13. Whaddayaknow? Bane IS up for pre-order at my hobby store. Anybody going for this one? Kicker? The producers initially wanted Robin to win the fight, but Bruce would have none of it. So they had to settle for a draw.
  14. Bane's HT figure is up next. Thankfully, it's pretty no-frills, which means a more affordable figure. My wallet rejoices. My bad. Apparently, the teaser's been up for a while now. No pre-order yet, and hopefully, it'll remain so for a while until Q4 this year. This year's getting way too expensive for me.
  15. Both of my Revoltech Bayverse OP and Bumbebee are also rubbery as hell, but at least they've got far better joints than the ones used by PlayArts. I absolutely had that rubbery crap they use. My PlayArts FF XIII-2 Lightning had a bent left leg that I didn't notice earlier because it was obscured by her feather skirt thing. That defect could have been completely avoided had they used hard plastic.
  16. Thanks for the input, RD Blade! That's one more vote for buying it. As long as his bot mode is good, then I'm buying him. Good to hear that he scales well with FE Arcee--I've alrady bought her, and the two will make great fight scene opponents.
  17. Thanks, Mike! I guess I'll probably be picking it up this weekend. He's mostly going to be in bot mode on display with my other Screamers, so the less-than-perfect jet mode doesn't really bother me.
  18. I've been looking at some pics of Takara's PRID voyager Starcream. The fig looks pretty decent, despite the clear plastic forearms. Couldn't find any reviews for it though. (never mind--I actually mistyped review as preview in google. Still would like to hear some more opinions on the toy, though) I'm still undecided on whther I should get the toy or not. Anyone here bought him? Any opinions on the toy?
  19. I had a feeling that might be the case. Actually preferred the way things were in the first two movies. Oh well, I'll just have to see how the third movie turns out.
  20. Thanks for the info. This Antje Traue chick who plays the character looks more like a tough chick heroinne than a villain, to be honest. Not cold enough. But that's just judging from one picture. Will have to wait for the movie to see if she manages to pull off a decent performance as a Kryptonian serial killer. That is, if Goyer follows (according to wikipedia) the character's original biography from Action Comics #471. That said, and this is probably nostalgia talking, but I find Ursa from the Donner movies and more effective representation of source character. Now that's the face of a beautiful, cold-hearted serial killer outer-fcuking-space.
  21. Haven't been keeping up with Man of Steel news for a while. Nice that they got rid of the red briefs. New suit looks good; like everyone else, I agree that it needs a belt. Wonder who the suit with the female proportions belongs to.
  22. Just finished a replay of GTA IV Liberty City Stories, after almost leaving it on the shelf for three years. Who knew playing as a Balkan assassin with a past could be so fun?
