  1. I just Googled it. Damn, that is some hardcore sh!t. I guess Japanese "decency" laws are as lax as they are ridiculous.
  2. If the name Uwe Boll and the use of European prostitutes as extras don't faze you, then it could be a fun watch. I never bothered watching it myself, but I heard some say that it's one of those "so bad, it's good" movies.
  3. Yet another reason to hate Micheal Bay.
  4. @ renegadeleader1: Yeah, Imari, Kitami, Saeki and Takashiro-Sensei are arguably the most popular ones, but Imari tends to hog most of the fig releases, kind of like Kanu Unchou from Ikki Tousen. I never knew they could do that, what with Japanese "decency" laws and all. There ARE some customized ones, though, but I doubt official manufacturers would do so.
  5. Not taking any chances here, so I'll just "spoiler my comment:
  6. Yeah well now watch me try to unsee it...
  7. The shadows on his crotch in this pic makes it look like he's got a cameltoe.
  8. Maybe the guy who wrote that article was Hmong...
  9. The Batman fig holding the batarang and bomblet. Sorry, should have been more specific.
  10. Did not know that. You guys sure know your Batmen. BTW, is that fig on your armchair articulated?
  11. I gotta say, I prefer DX02. The cape on the Medicom RAH fig looks like it was made of suede, or some fuzzy-looking fabric.
  12. I hear you. I started out with one Jill Valentine Battle Suit figure, before proceeding to add the DX-04 ETD Bruce Lee fig. I counted it a blessing in disguise when I came into the game a little too late to pre-order the first release of the Tumbler. I couldn't pass up the chance when HT re-released it this year. And that was then things got out of control. Started adding the Bat-pod to the list, before going for DX-12 and Bane. I've already bot my eyes set on Catwoman. I just know I'll be going for the 1986 Robocop fig and ED 209 once they start opening pre-orders. Just counting my blessings that Yamato's still going through the M7 line, in which I have absolutely no interest. If they start remaking the DYRL Super Ostrich with non-exploding arms though, my wallet's gonna start looking flatter than the abs of a Venezuelan supermodel.
  13. For f@#k's sakes, man, don't keep us guessing. What version is it?
  14. Kicker's is most likely the DX version for TDK, the one that comes with the sonar eyes, back pack and sticky bomb gun. I'm almost certain that's not DX12, as the suit looks rubbery. The undercoating for DX12 is fabric.
  15. Shouldn't have watched DYRL. Now I'm aching for a Super Ostrich.
  16. No surprise there. The kind of rubber HT uses tends to crack from dry-rot, or react with other materials. Batman and Comedian: rubber suit oozes an oily substance when in contact with body. ED 209: rubber dome cracks from dry-rot. Actually, the DX12 Batman suit has a fabric coating underNEATH the rubber parts. It's supposedly to prevent contact between the rubber and the figure's skin, serving as both a feature that adds realism and detailing to the figure, as well as a sort of a stopgap solution to the "oozing oil" problem. That's got to be 3rd party, right? I remember HT mentioning that they won't be releasing a "Nurse version" Joker out of "respect" for the deceased's family.
  17. I was just about to mention the same words you quoted. That expression looks like his head doesn't want to be stuck on that body.
  18. IMO, the only decent FoC figs for now are Starscream, and Grimlock. Kickback's a little iffy, until we see better pics of him.
  19. I can't say for sure, but HT seems to prioritize aesthetics over articulation for figures where the bodies are exposed. I noticed the same thing on my DX-04 Bruce Lee. I can barely get a 90 degree angle from his elbows. His knees have much better articulation. Seems to also be the same case with the Avengers Hulk. How'd you get a pre-order for Gordon? Isn't he supposed to be some convention exclusive?
  20. Nice! Speaking of custom "Bruce's", I wonder if the collar on that HS that comes with DX12 is removable. It'd make the perfect HS for non-Batman-costume Bruce Wayne customs.
  21. Nano-repair cells? So that's what that bunch of grape-looking things he pulled out of that cyborg in the first trailer was. Liking what I see, so far. I don't mind that it's not classic MGS, as it was never meant to be that kind of game. Will pick it up when it comes out.
  22. LOL! I don't mind sparing some space for this little kitty, but I know all too well where this road leads...before you know it, I'll be looking to add Asylum Batman to my already long list. As for the MK. VII, after taking a good look at the knees, I think I'll hold off on making that pre-order for now. The only thing keeping me from completely passing this up if the fact that I really like the design. You were right. The knee parts look too thin for Tony Stark to possible fit his knee into. And that seam in the middle makes it look even worse. It does look like a Playarts joint. In all probability, I'll end up saving the cash for ED 209.
  23. Aw, hell, and I just paid the deposit to pre-order Bane! Never realized he's got so much else that's not included in the "generic" HT version. There's aren't a lot of pics of HT's MK. VIII's knees. They look rather squarish, but without pics of the older versions on hand, I'm not sure if there's that big of a difference. Got any pics you'd care to share? I'd like to take a look before pre-ordering it. As for Catwoman, I'm of the same opinion. I also prefer Arkham Asylum's Catwoman, but sadly she won't fit in with the rest of the Nolan cast. That eagle looks awesome. Another 3rd party accessory?
  24. Why a DX version? I haven't watched the movie yet, but Bane doesn't look like he's got a lot of accessories. AFAIK, the only piece of accessory missing from the one they're making is a black sleeveless vest. I've decided to go all out on the Batman figs this time, and Catwoman's definitely on my to-buy list. Hell, I've been binge-ordering so much, I'm now tempted to get the Iron Man MK VII suit from The Avengers. Always wanted an Iron Man fig, but missed out on the previous ones, no thanks to Yamato and it's flood of VF-1's in the past two years. No special stand this time, but I prefer the bulkier design in the MK. VII suit as opposed to the super-streamlined ones. The battle-damaged parts look sweet, too, not to mention the more pronounced weapons. I could wait for the release of the Iron Man 3 suits, but those fugly "desert cammo" and "iron patriot" suits aren't exactly filling me with hope on the other unreleased designs from the movie...considering there are any.
  25. Yup. Her name's Henrietta; she's the main character in Gunslinger Girls. Really tempted to get this one; hope she comes with her violin case. I wonder who's up next? Triela would be nice.
