    Thanks for the info. I hope HLJ carries them. Speaking of HLJ, issue 34 hasn't been up for pre-order yet. Little concerned that they will all the sudden stop carrying it but staying optimistic.

    Great stuff thanks. That cleared up a lot of questions I had about the game, Particularly about what the heck happened during the final stage. I got through it without really understanding the events.

    Thanks VA. Didn't notice box dimensions ate available. I'm relieved to hear that box size hasn't increased. Storage space is always a headache and a huge limiting factor.

    Can someone confirm box size? From pics above it looks like the size of later Yamato release box size but previous pic made it look much bigger.

    Finally found time to finish the first go around and started the second time through. Love being able to use Basara and Fire Valkyrie. I love that instead of firing missiles two of the weapons Basara sings instead, typical of himself in 7. You can listen to try again again and again during gameplay. I don't understand Japanese either. My understanding was that Leon is Mia's brother, and Roto is Mia's boy friend? It seems to me Roto blames Leon for Mia's death in an accident and hasn't gotten over it. Can somebody confirm?

    Great job Gubaba. I think your translation brought out the mood of the novel pretty well. This is a must read for SDFM fans. I loved mikimotos artwork as well. And I retract my previous statement about Minmay's appearance in the novel. I now love it cuz it led to the wonderful Mikimoto illustration of little Minmay. Misa had a hard teenager period, this made me glad to see what happened in SDFM.

    Thanks for the vid! DYRL was pretty big in HK. We ended up having the VHS with Japanese dialog chinese sub and I remember watching it over and over and over and over again.... I don't actually remember that there was a chinese version of the DYRL song. It's sung by Chan Wai Haan, correct?

    I'm patient but still no shipping notification from HLJ after nine days is pushing it.... Granted I had almost 40 items in my PW (mostly just Macross chronicles), but I thought a week would have been plenty.

    And look at where animeigo is now..... I'd have a hard time believing that BW will let go of its ego and ask fan's help for free, so that they can satisfy a market that they don't really care about.

    it all comes down to money. There is a budget to the blu-ray's production, and a (likely tiny) amount of that budget goes towards the sub. If the budget doesn't allow for additional proof reading, it won't be done (unless someone on the project is both skilled and dedicated enough to do it for free). I'd rather them say, "let's get subs onto the bluray disc with the available budget, even if it ain't perfect", than say, "since we don't have the budget to get the subs perfect, let's forget about it". Scenario 1 is probably what happened to MP. Hopefully they'll either do the same for MF boxset (or even better has a bigger budget for it). If I have to choose, I'd pick slightly subpar subs over no sub any day.

    Any subtitles would be fine for me, even if it's just like Macross plus ones. Especially considering its either that or no subs at all.

    Apparently one can enter a vf-1 cockpit by opening a door on the side!! Talk about an accurate model! Pity that Minmay cosplayer was blocking most of the view of the cockpit interior. Thanks for the links and pics guys.
