Seconds to go and a Rinkya bidder came in....but was soon outbid by "Cha"....up to 210,001 yen!!!!!! SOLD for 210,001 JPY!!!!!!!!!!!! Judging by the pic...it is most likely drawn by Mikimoto himself.....a true gem and piece of Macross history.....

Agreed....plain space full of stars works the best....was trying to get one with a small bit of the earth or planet...but couldn't find one that I liked.... Did you mean "hole"? yeah....I was going for the fighter bay area of something like the Prometheus looking out into space.....like near an elevator or deployment area... This was my inspiration......a couple of my favorite Macross ilustrations of all time....

I cobbled together some chain bases I purchased from Skullmilitia recently........they look small separately, but bulk-up pretty good when combined to accommodate the 1/60 VFs....

I think Toynami would be better off selling the smaller "plushies".....and 6 rather than 3 at a time.....add the Milia -1J, VF-1A brownie, and VF-1D to the set and they would be an instant buy for me.... They should just sell this stuff exclusively through their site.....build to order.......unless they just can't get enough orders.... But I think the odds are we'll sooner get a 1/3000 SDF-1 TV from Arcadia before that ever happens.........and I'm perfectly OK with that!

I believe so...I do not recall the scene in any of the episodes......I skipped the Film version recently (bought the BD) as I prefer the OVA......but I guess it deserves another viewing on BD as soon as I get a chance....someday...maybe....

Would like to do that someday...but currently my time is monopolized mostly with changing and disposing of diapers for a 3 month old and watching Disney movies with my 2 year old.... For now...I can post some quick shots of my cels taken with my cell phone...... Had to get this Gavil..... ....as it goes well with my Sivil..... ....the hunt for more Protodeviln continues.....

Plus....seems she was contemplating asphyxiating little kickass.......serial killer in training........ Maybe Carol was covering up for her and she was not the one who killed those folks??? Tara needs a strong female partner.......maybe Carol? LOL.....side-effect of the zombie virus!

The only positive to this odd release is that it is not a TV SDF-1....last thing we need if for Arcadia to "test the waters" for a TV SDF-1 release with something like the mini release, have it sell poorly, and conclude that no one wants a 1/3000 version...

Looks like an homage to the old Nichimo SDF-1 kit which also came with a mini section of South Ataria.......not sure why Arcadia's would be so expensive....maybe some unannounced gimmicks...
