Do you own a Yamato 1/3000 SDF-1? I'd be curious to see what the mini figurines look like on a Yamato SDF-1. Those figurines are the only reason I'd actually buy this model kit.

They'll probably keep milking the MacF license until it's time to switch to Macross Δ....so whatever time it takes to put in place the tooling for the new valks is when they will put on the MacF brakes.... Not including Macross 30 valks.....what is left to be done from MacF? Would be nice if they ended the MacF line with these two....in-scale with the rest of the line (or close to it) queadluun-rhea.... Vajra....

The FPs on the Hi-Metals are also DYRL-type....essentially you can tell by the arm armor and by the color....I think the recent pics of the Super VF-1J Max and Milia are using the DYRL armor painted in their TV colors

Based on the pics seen so far....and if they indicate what is being released....then the Strike VF-1S and VF-1J Max can become obsolete if the "R" versions are indeed different.... Then again, all previous generations of Macross toys eventually become obsolete....best to enjoy them while you have them in whatever way best suits you....

The Milia VF-1J henkei is among the rarest vintage Macross toys.....I have only seen about three for sale in 30 years of collecting.....your friend made a great find and purchase!

Hagane Bito artbook..... Not heavy on Macross illustrations....but does have plenty of great mecha art from a variety of anime series..... Jedi Gundam! Votoms... Mospeada.... Macross DYRL..........Roy getting Skull Fokker'd! Macross Zero VF-0A....looks sort of like the art being used currently to promote the upcoming Arcadia Zero VF-0's.... ....VF-0S......

I've been looking to buy a Max type on eBay for under $100 shipped and was finally able to do so. So far I like Lavinrac's mod the best....so unless someone finds a better option...that's the one I would like to get....it'll just be for display so utility is not a concern for me.... .....now to see if these guys I bought it from deliver it in one piece.....
