I have two of these cabinets and I do not recommend them for Macross collectors. I have my Master Replicas Sabers displayed in them and they do collect a lot of dust. I opted for a larger wooden curio from Polaski that has a sliding front door front for my Macross stuff. Unfortunately it only opens half way....which makes putting 1:60 Valks and models in a VERY time consuming and frustrating thing. Looks great once you finish however!

So what are you willing to pay for Arcadia YF-19?
derex3592 replied to 1/1 LowViz Lurker's topic in Toys
I've never been a huge fan of that particular Vaik mainly because of the color. However, I am a sucker for cool engineering and jets, so I will have to see how my wallet feels when we get closer! -

No assumptions being made over here...just contemplating the "what if's". Basically I can't wait to hear all the crying and moaning on here when most people see the final sale price for it. -
I like the grey.

It's a 2014 release---with a new mold, Arcadia having to make a profit, all the missiles and stuff, plus a stand if they include one, I'm willing to bet this will easily cost between 35000-40000 yen. On the low end. Call me crazy, but I see it happening. I pretty much nailed the SDF-1 and VF-4 cost so we'll have to see. -
You SIR are a VERY patient and talented man! Huzzaa!

@505th..did you paint your red stripes or use the decals? Your Vipers look great! and that "Beast" is awesome!

Just the primer coat. Lots of sanding to do. The plastic on this kit just would not take paint well, so I had to primer it which I hate cause primering sucks. Low Vis would be awesome to see, but I'm gonna try to do some form of white..which may not go well, I've never had any luck with painting white with an airbrush or really a spray can either.

Aircraft Super Thread Mk.VII

OMG...that thing is amazing...we need him to build the all time ultimate VF-1!!!!! Doesn't have to fly! Just be in that scale with that level of detail! Be more $$$ than a new car...but never mind that! -

Thanks! Her other blogs are pretty funny as well. I guess I'll keep her around..we had "a toy date" at one point and I kinda taught her how to transform a VF-1..

SDCC 2013 Hasbro Exclusives: Jetfire Skystriker
derex3592 replied to Chet's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Can anyone tell me (why no company that I know of anyway...) ever made a "Skyfire" toy that LOOKED like the one in the original cartoon? I grew up with TF'ers in the 80's and Robotech and I always wondered why the "Jetfire" I got for Christmas was the most awesome Robotech toy a kid could ever want..LOL- 158 replies

The Beagle bikes were some of the most ingenious engineering ever put into a toy. Period. (+1 more Mospeada fan!)

I think the nude model suspended from the ceiling should have been transforming Valks for sheer entertainment value!
