  1. Finished up 3PO while watching the Giants beat my Boys...moving on!.....here's a sneak peek at the engine lighting for the Falcon. This is about a 5 inch strip...it will be 24 inches all in...LOL! Gonna need some light block on the very back, but I have a plan for that I think.
  2. This morning I had a chance to finish up the different colored panels on the top of the Falcon. I actually liked the colors Hasbro went with for the sticker sheet, so I mixed some colors to match them. All panels done with Tamiya acrylics. It's a little different from the way my 1:72 FM's came out, but I like it. Besides, I've never seen any two Falcons that were the same! Looking forward to weathering and engine lighting next! Also, I worked on 3PO some yesterday.

Basically Fine Molds in a newish box. Even the pics are the same on the box tops. And hey, the instructions will be in English. I may jump on another Tie.

Guess I missed the three they must have had...
  5. ooohh... shiiiiiiny... LOL
  6. Wow. I must say I'm impressed with that price. I'll definitely be getting one to go along side my Yamato VF-4
  7. I think you can get rigid replacements on Shapeways. I know you can for the 25's.
  8. Great job!
  9. Final pics of Mr. Sandtrooper. Sorry for the sideways pics.
  10. Ohh man , this trailer...right in the feels! SO happy with what I've seen so far from Ford's performance! He looks like he's really invested in the role! (not like the last Indy, which I think we can all agree wasn't his finest hour). Bring on December!!!
  11. got the top of my boss's Falcon masked and painted this morning... also did some weathering and detailing on the Sandtrooper backpack and weapons utilizing some light dry brushing and Tamiya weathering kits
  12. allllmost there......lol
  13. ohhhh....reeeallllly????? Hmmm....this could be problamatic for my wallet..
  14. My 19 & 21 are waiting!
  15. Let's see the Snowtroopers out of the box!!!
  16. It is part of Bandai's new 1/12 Star Wars figure line. Fully poseable with joints. Basically made for beginners or more advanced modelers. Just depends on what you feel like. All Bandai's new kits don't require glue or paint unless you want to. So the model guy in me won out and I did go ahead and paint the orange shoulder pad and the grey backpack parts with Tamiya acrylics. Also going to paint all the gun parts flat black just cause.
  17. So I can report...as expected...these figure kits are awesomeness. This is about two hours work, at a slow pace today, while cooking ribs, and rewatching SDF Macross. Only tools used, Xuron snippers and Xacto knife..
  18. I think I have an addiction.....
  19. yeh she is. Awesome. Can't wait for Season 2!!!
  20. It's fantastic. Its definitely meant for smaller detail work and smaller kits. I now only use my Paassche for bigger jobs and clear coats as it has interchangeable needles that were included with it. The Iwata only comes with one included, and I haven't purchased any more yet. Also the Paasche is a syhpon fed and the Iwata is a gravity fed and takes less air pressure to use.
  21. I wasn't referencing anything in your post GU-11. No harm meant. I was referring to this being my 3rd Falcon paint job in about as many years. I didn't even see your post until I posted mine. And now that I have, I will say that I would think Future or any acrylic gloss coat would be fine to coat your Iron Man with. :-)
  22. This all seeeeems strangely familiar........LOL. Have I mentioned I absolutely LOVE my Iwata airbrush? Didn't have it back when I did my FineMolds 1:72. Wish I had. So much more controllable.
