    Not been there in decades and the last time I stopped in there were far more video game cartridges then toys. It was however the only place I had ever seen Star Trek Phaser Battle!

    No - the legal case for HG to own the trademarks is at best in limbo after they lose the rights, my guess is they will be able to keep the trademarks even though they lose the other rights. In the US who had claimed them (trademark) first is a major factor.

    Both used it for the exact same purpose(*) - coming up with something alien would have made it meaningless to the reader. (*) - plenty of other books, shows, movies have used colloquial expressions for aliens as well, I'm not going to get hung up over it.

    My legaleze is not what it should be - what does that court document above mean? Case dismissed, dropped, ruled in one side's favor or another (but with no actual change in status).

    A good Star Trek Novel is "The Final Reflection". I don't think I've ever read any others.

    Agreed, this is Star Wars were talking about. It needs the right amount of light and fluffy mixed with just a hint of peril and tragedy. Lucas went off the rails with the prequals by trying to take it all too seriously.

    When does the Sony movie option end? HG is not one to sign over perpetual rights.

    I meant official - but I'll take what I can get. Good to know Central Anime is doing one however, they have good translations unlike the five minutes of near gibberish I saw from another group's translation of the first episode.

    Jokes aside it will mean something important for next season, you don't make your last image of the season of a character like that without it having a major import for the next season.

    What really happened is that the battle with the AT-ACTs occurs before the battle with the AT-ATs and the Empire uparmored them after seeing what happened.

    The one thing he might have done is to tell Cersei he was going to have them take a boat, all by itself, without the Dragons around...

    I've heard that before but Tyrion is not an idiot, and he knows making any kind of deal with Cersei would be idiocy. Then again, they have not seemed to hold to the "trust but verify" paradigm in GoT.
