Gunze Sangyo and Wave airbrushes are made by the same parent company that makes Iwata airbrushes. They are just marketed for different segments, Iwata to artist and Gunze Sangyo and Wave to hobbyist (at least in Japan, in the US only Iwata is sold and marketed). Gunze Sangyo airbrushes seem to have a price advantage over the Wave (not by much) and Iwata. A Procon Boy FWA Platinum 0.2 is 12,350 yen and the equivalent Super Air Brush Advance 02 is 12,850 yen. The HP-C Hi-line is $189.00, quite a bit more and it doesn't come with the optional crown cap (it allows you to get closer to the paint surface without splatter). F.

Ha, this is silly. I guess the scientists in this article forgot to take into account the effects that the solar wind would have on these particles. Yes, the outer planets will experience a slight increase in the density of interstellar matter but the innner planets will not experience anything at all. So unless the sun were to turn off, we have nothing to worry about. F.

If money is no object, then get the Iwata HP-C Hi-Line: http://www.dixieart.com/High_Performance_P...Airbrushes.html You get a preset handle and an air control valve, which means you have total control over paint flow and spray pattern. It has interchangable nozzles from .2 mm for fine work to .4 mm for broader spray pattern. The HP-C Hi-Line comes with .3 mm standard. As to the other recomendations. I also own Paasche (H and VL) and Badger (200G and 150) but I have found that the Iwata gives you better paint atomization. It is easier to clean and less suseptable to clogging. It also has a teflon O-ring, which means I can spray whatever I want (Lacquer paint will eat regular O-rings) and clean the airbrush with whatever I want (Lacquer thinner will remove just about anything). Hah, Queen Millenium and Space Pirate Captain Herlock are both licenced by...(sinister music)...Harmony Gold. And yes, they did the Robotech treatment and put both series together to form one story line. I saw this tv series back in 1985/1986 while in college in Santa Cruz, CA. Strange thing is that it was not shown in Los Angeles, meaning that very few and small markets got to see it (another strange thing was that Santa Cruz never got Robotech, at least not when I was there in the late 80s). Get the Cambell Hausfeld Model: FP2040. It's two gallons and fairly quiet, some people use this in their apartments. Best thing is that it's cheap, the retail list is $87.00 and you can usually find it in any of the big box stores (Wallmart, Sears, Home Depot, etc.). Ask a salesperson to run it for you so you can see if it's quiet enough. F.
