  2. Just scored one on CD Japan, but they limit you to one only. Graham
  3. Ah, got why I'm confused, because I thought 3rd option is "Leave Town". Graham
  4. Thanks. I understand why I was confused now. I thought if I handed in the 10 stones, then they would give me the Lv6 course plans as a reward. Didn't realise I had to go find the Lv6 plansI think it confused me because with the Lv4 plans I mistakenly thought I got them when I handed in the 10 stones, but I must have picked up the Lv4 plans already and not realised it. 5. Graham's stupid questions of the day, which may or may not be related: 1) How/where are the races? I'm up to story mission 2-2 and have done a bunch of hunter's guild quests as well, but still no idea how and where do I find a race to join? 2) I completed the Hunters's guild quest at Yue that opens at 1-6:"Level 4 Course Plans. Find the Level 4 course plan. Obtain 10 Ouroboros Stones". Is this something to do with the race? Do I have to take the course plans somewhere to be able to enter the race? 3) Also, even though I still have over 10 Ouroboros stones in my VF's inventory, it won't let me complete the next Hunter's guild quest at Yue that opens at 1-8: "Level 5 Course Plans. Find the Level 5 course plan. Obtain 10 Ouroboros Stones". Any idea why I can't turn in this quest? Graham
  6. Why bother with eBay? I'd recommend CD Japan. http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=BLJS-10184 Also, if you have a PSP, Macross Ultimate Frontier and Macross Trial Frontier are highly recommended. Graham
  7. Gotta say your story quest translations and guild quest translations are super invaluable to non-Japanese readers like me. I'd have no idea what to do without them. Actually, dunno if it's too difficult, but I'd love a comprehensive, all-inclusive list of all items with just the Japanese and English translation of the name of the item only. There's still some stuff in storage I've no idea what it is. Would be super handy for quick reference while trying to figure out what stuff is. Graham
  8. Yep, I just walked into a retail store here in HK and picked them up a day or to after release. I didn't have to pre-order or anything. Graham
  9. If I can, gonna try and snag me one or two more Altos. Already got my Armoured and Super Pack Alto. Just needs me a naked Alto.......... he's so pretty naked ;P Eww, that sounds so wrong! LOL Graham
  10. Thanks. Still learning my way around the game, but your guide is a real life saver. Printed out a hard copy, which is already getting pretty dog-earred due too constant reference (easier than reading it on my phone) Think I've pretty much got things down now, just a few items in inventory and storage, I've no idea what they are. Graham
  11. Same as in all three PSP games. Graham
  12. Completely agree, not digging it at all. Far prefer the Tenjin YF-19 / YF-21 cockpit art on my original Japanese DVDs. Graham
  13. Zoroastres, I've heard lots of talk about "junk engine, junk frame and junk armor parts". Is it possible to get the these added into the guide? I'm sure I just have lots of these parts, but no idea what the Japanese for them is. Graham
  14. I might have a busted VF-0A that I can get the head from. I'll check at the weekend. Graham
  15. Yeah, without your guide I would have given up on game. Graham
  16. Too late and too tired too write a long reply at the moment, but just to address some of the points. Yamato were actually a pretty small company. You'd be surprised at how small. I don't think I ever saw more than 20 employees during my visits to there Japan offices. May have been a few more or a few less. Of course if you count the Hong Kong and US operations the number increases, but not by much. When there was a Hong Kong office, it was never more than 4 or 5 people. No, Yamato did not own a stake in any of the mainland Chinese factories they used over the years. Yamato were constantly looking for better and more capable factories to produce their VF toys. I think they used 4 to 6 different factories over the 13 year run of making the VF toys. Unfortunately, changes to Chinese labor laws a few years ago, really had a knock on effect and increased production costs by around 20%. Also, the last two factories that Yamato used for the VF-1 v2, VF-11 and VF-19, VF-17, VF-4 where really much better quality-wise, but they did charge a premium. Graham
  17. Please post questions about model kits in the model forum, not the toy forum. Moving topic. Graham
  18. I have a nasty feeling this is going to end up not being made Graham
  19. I'll pass on the armour for this, personally I think it looks better naked and that's how we see it 99% of the time. Although it would be nice to have the wing missiles. Graham
  20. Still no formal confirmation, but more and more sources are saying it was bankruptcy Graham
  21. Is the first hybrid game worth getting? Graham
  22. Is it just me, or do the back FAST Packs, Strike cannon look too small. Graham
