  1. To be honest, I can live with the underside swing bars, they are not pretty, but I'm seldom gonna look at the fighter mode from the underside and will just have to avoid loooking at it from the front......hahaha. Apart from either having 3 different swapable hip joint parts like the Bandai kit had, or having a removable white plastic cover piece to hide the hip bars in Fighter mode, I can't think what else Evolution could have done.
  2. I just wished back in the day we'd got the Aliens sequel we all wanted, with the Aliens getting back to Earth and a mass infestation breaking out and Hicks, Ripley, Bishop and Newt along with Colonial Marines and other Earth armed forces fighting for the survival of mankind. Instead of that shitty dog alien in a prision movie we got......urghh
  3. Easy pass for me, as I've never been into films that use flashy, unrealistic wirework fighting. I far prefer films were the fight scenes are as realistic as posible and showcase proper skill at arms.
  4. I really hope this is not Banpresto VF-1 bad....urghhh
  5. Errr..........ok, not sure what's being said there. Mmm.......cheesy!
  6. Ohhh........I like that pic. Yeah, it does look good next to the VF-1.
  7. I like it from certain angles (like the ones in the photos above.....haha), but I really wanna hear about how well it locks together in the three different modes. I'm preying it's not a froppy mess. Well, I've paid HLJ. So now begins the agonizing wait for the snails at HLJ to actually get it out of the door.
  8. I sure hope that's not her everyday normal speaking voice. If I was her boyfriend or husband, I'd probably end up taping her mouth shut or gagging her to stop her squeaking speaking. Her voice would drive me bonkers otherwise if I had to listen to it everyday.......hahah
  9. I'm passing on this one. My one Yamato VF-4G is enough. To be honest, I've never been a huge VF-4 fan anyway.
  10. Buying the Dropship and the APC for certain.
  11. I too loved Predators and was hoping for a direct sequel. The original Predator is of course the best movie, but I have a soft spot for Predator 2 as well.
  12. Just got my HLJ payment request.

    Bandai DX VF-31

I'm already attracted enough to the VF-31S/F/E/A. Shiny new, hi-tech things always attract me.............hahaha
  14. I'd love it if somebody could translate that Master Files pamplet in full. I bet there is all sorts of great information on there. I'm not worried about not seeing the SV-262's B and G modes yet. Kawamori and co obviously want to keep it as a big reveal on purpose. Graham
  15. Man, I haven't done a toy review in years. In fact, I've no idea how to even post one since the Macrossworld website got updated and went all new-fangled. If I did do one, it would probably just be a video review straight to Youtube, as video reviews seems to be all the rage these days.......hahaha. Plus, I'm too lazy and lack time to do a written and still photo review these days Graham

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

Also forgot the Doyusha 1/144 scale diecast fighter mode VF-19A Ravens toy.
  17. I'm definitely a fighter mode first guy. When I only buy one of a VF toy it always gets displayed in fighter mode. Only if I buy a second toy, which is rare these days, does it get displayed in Battroid mode.

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

I love Macross Plus and the YF-19 design. But as much as I think that Bandai did a stellar job with the VF-19 Advance, I don't think I can justify to myself spending the money to buy the Macross Plus YF-19 if Bandai releases it. I mean, it's gonna be almost exactly the same color scheme and design as the VF-19 Advance, just with the SMS logo changed to the UN Spacy emblem and the red head arrows added. Yeah, it will be nice if they include wing missiles, a Fold Booster, and a Yang figure, but even then I'm not sure I can justify the expense for something so similar. For me the VF-19 Advance is already a good enough YF-19 surrogate. However, adding the arm weapon might be the one thing that sways me to buy the YF-19 though. Graham
  19. It's usually only the Master Files books that get delayed this much...............hahaha
  20. Luckily here in Hong Kong we don't have any Customs charges to contend with for importing goods, but buying goods from the US and shipping them to Hong Kong is often very expensive. I buy all sorts of items from the US through Amazon and Ebay and some US sellers charge very highly for shipping. I've been charged US$40 to US$50 before for shipping an item from the US that only ways a few ounces and that was shipping by standard USPS international service . I'm wondering if postal service shipping fees are in any way reciprocal, as the HK postal service is also not cheap to ship overseas. Graham
  21. Yeah, that's what I think too, a more powerfu, but perhaps slower firing secondary weapon, for when greater punch is needed. Perhaps a miniaturized quantum beam-gun? Kinda analogous to the Strike Valks twin beam cannon, or the Tornado Packs dual beam turret or the YF-29's pop-up back-mounted, beam guns.
  22. I still think that is an actual offensive type (beam or shell firing) gunpod mounted on the VF-31's weapon pod, next to the charging system. It's in the normal position for a gunpod in fighter mode. Plus the recently shown VF-31A line-art shows what looks to be the exact same type of gunpod on the VF-31A. We know or suspect the VF-31A is supposed to be a standard military type VF, not a custom version for supporting Walkure, so it makes sense that it would have an offensive gunpod. However, in fighter mode the muzzle of the gunpod would be blocked by the groin piece, so I'm wondering if it can lower to clear the groin piece to fire in fighter mode and maybe even rotate like we saw the Sv-262's gunpod doing? We've seen the recent CG art of the VF-31J in Gerwalk mode with the weapon pod in the open up position and we've also seen that magazine cover pic with the gunpod looking thing in the battroid's hand. Graham
  23. Wish they would do a 6" First Order Stormtrooper with the heavy gun and chest rig.
