    Maybe Messer should get laid by Chuck's hot sister. That'll probably release some of the repression and make him more resistant against Var. Unless he's batting for the other team and pining for Keith, if you know what I mean.....haha

    Ha, those screenshots were taken using the MX Player app on my Android phone. Luckily the adds only show when I pause the video to take a screenshot. Thankfully no adds when playing the video. Great app, plays pretty much any type of video. Yeah, I was also thinking that may be the reason it looked like he nearly went Var. So we're probably heading to an inevitable episode where Messer turns Var and has to be put down by either Mirage or Hayate. Probably Mirage as he told her not to hesitate so she won't this time. I bet there will be pineapple somewhere in that episode and lots of tears!

    Haha, yeah I was also wondering how high he was above the crowd. It would have been kinda funny if he'd been blowing them all over and frying them without realizing.

    None of the 6 model and toy/hobby shops I visited even knew about them. As usual, gazillions of Gundam kits everywhere but almost no Macross.

    Finally had a chance to watch the subbed version last night, watched it 3 times last night and once this morning. Watched both the GG and Deadfish versions (subs appear to be identical for both). Some comments and observations: 1) Wondering what are the egg-like things on the bridge of Roid's ship? Vajura eggs perhaps? 2) Messer seems to be much more susceptible to VAR syndrome than the other members of Delta Squadron and seemed to be fighting very hard not to succumb this episode. 3) Nice to see the back mounted beam guns being fired several times. 4) So Windermerean's have extreme physical abilities, which is what caused their shorter lifespan (the candle that burns twice as bright, burns half as long). This explains Freyja's extreme jump in a previous episode. I bet they are gonna be beastly in hand to hand combat. 5) In the series proper, we haven't seen the multi-drone chargers used yet (only in mission 0.89). So if the multi-drones are now useless, then we'll never see the chargers used.......haha. Maybe the charger section of the pod will be replaced with a missile launcher. Or more likely, Delta and Walkure will find a way to overcome the jamming to allow the drones to be used. 6) Unless the subs are wrong or missing stuff, I didn't see any mention of Windermear laying claim to Protoculture. The subs only had him addressing "children of Protoculture" (which is basically every humanoid race) and declaring war on NUNS.

    Damn, can't find these anywhere in Hong Kong and the ones I ordered from HLJ seem to be lost in transit.

    Not a fan of the commander type head. One Commander type DX and possibly two standard types (one for fighter mode and one for battroid mode) will be enough for me. Graham

    Yay, finally got to watch episode 3 this morning. Been traveling oversseas on business since the weekend, so no time until now.

    Haha, no plans to repaint or fill in seams. I'm the world's worst model painter. All that stuff is way too technical for me and at a level of skill I could never obtain. I'm buying these specifically beacuse they are already painted, so I don't have to. Just gonna slap em together, use a few drops of super glue to make sure they stay together and use them as hand-held zoom arounds until the DX toys come out. Graham

    Confused......So does this mean that the Gerwalk kit is not a complete kit even though it's the most expensive? And does it mean you have to buy an extra Fighter mode and Battroid mode kits just to complete the Gerwalk? If that's the case I'll probably cancel my Gerwalk order and just stick with the Fighter and Battroid kits.

    I would imagine by now given the amount of times that a VF has had to rescue standard size humans the operating system has been programmed to recognise when the VF is holding a human in its manipulator and adapt accordingly.

    Forgot I'd actually ordered these, just received a payment request from HLJ. Oh well, they are cheap enough that even though they look really shitty, might as well keep them to tide me over until the TomyTecs and Bandai DXs come out. Graham
