    Check Fuke's knee joints for cracks and also check where the plastic front forks of the bike connect to the red plastic of the frame, as I've found cracking there on mine. Graham

    Posted in the 'Wanted' forum, but thought I'd post here as well. Would like to buy just the Mars Gallant Pistol that comes with the Toynami MPC Cyclone / Beagle Mospeada toy (see attached picture). Just looking for the pistol only, as mine was missing from my MPC Rand Cyclone, recently purchased from ebay Willing to pay US$25 + shipping for the pistol. If anybody wants to part with their Mars Gallant, please PM me. Easy 25 bucks Graham

    And anyway, we already have a remake/ retelling of the TV series, with gorgeous yet to be surpassed animation. It's called 'DYRL'. Graham

    And I'm fairly sure the toy and model sponsors, who are critical for sponsorship of the anime production would be less than keen on revisiting the VF-1 yet again, as its been done to death

    While a remake would no doubt be graphically very pretty, and may even feature some story changes ala Macross the First, I'd still rather see an all new Macross anime, with a new story, new characters and new mecha. Thankfully, Kawamori doesnt seem to have been infected by Hollywood remake-itis so far. Graham

    True, the only justification for giant humanoid mecha is to look cool and sell lots of toys and model kits While I may not like the Gundam design aesthetic, the Gundam Unicorn anime definitely is visually very cool. Graham

    Just saw a VF-25F renewal in Tai Yuen Street, Wanchai, which is near my office, in the toy shop on the right side of the street (I forget the shop's name). Price was just under HK$2k. Graham Can somebody remind me when are the renewal Super parts supposed to be out? Its so long ago that I placed the preorder that I've forgot. Graham

    Be nice if somebody could do a port of Scrambled Valkyrie or the Macross Plus arcade game for Android. Heck, I'm sure current phones could easily handle MPGE or VFX2. Graham

    Occasionally you do get bad castings, which fracture easily. But then again, it could just be a case of the guy in the video using too much brute force. Graham

    The wings of a VF are for atmospheric flight and of course are not used for maneuvering in space, which is acomplished by the vernier jets located around the body and on the wingtips on the VFs. The same thing about maneuvers killing the pilot could also be said about Gundam At least Macross now has ICS. Graham

    Seem to recall we have had this discussion more than a few times over the years. Personally, I'd say no. The original is a classic and should be left alone, warts and all. I'd much rather see a new Macross series or OVA rather than remaking the original. Graham

    Yeah, IIRC I also paid about HK$1,140 when the VF-25F Renewal was first released. And although it's still pretty easy to find, price has gone up quite a bit. Graham

    It was on at the cinemas here recently, but I passed, as it got promototed more as a juvenile/teen film for the Twilight crowd. Is that not the case then? Graham

    Yep, the bottom gallant pistol is the one that's missing. The figure, bike, Gallant rifle are all sealed under the top clear plastic tray. But not the Gallant pistol. For some weird reason the cut out for the Gallant pistol is on the external part of the clear top plastic tray with nothing covering it or holding it in. Graham

    Had the game, sold it. I never bought a Wonderswan though. I also bought a Gameboy, just to play the Macross 7 game, but sold them as well. Graham

    Nope, no sign of it. I searched inside the book-box, in my bag, around my office desk, which is where I took the plastic tray out of the box and put it in my bag and no sign of the H90 pistol Stupidly, it seems that the cutout for the H90 pistol is on the outside of the plastic tray and not covered at all, making it easy for this part to fall out. Or really it was never there, as I don't remember seeing it when I first opened the flip cover of the book box Probably not much use to complain to the seller, as it was sealed and obviously mint and packed very well. Likely a factory packing error. Anyone wanna sell me a Toyname/Beagle H90 pistol? Graham
