    I'm not talking about karma though. If there was any karma, he would be the Star Wars version of Jacob Marley for a thousand years. (And who was once played by Alec Guinness.) Obviously though, it would not mean that one was stuck on that path.

    Actually, that kind of fits into the aspect of the Force. There are Force-sensitive that, FWIK, are not subject to those absolutes. It appears that only when one can actually wield the Force and not just sense it that it really begins to effect the user right back. Do Good, and it amplifies the good within you. Do Bad, and it amplifies the bad, and that all depends on the user.

    Part of it that it was Luke Skywalker! I wont argue that point as it is quite valid. And, agreeing with @Bolt, Luke clearly came across as not just powerful but in control and precise. He had that Jedi Calm about him. For the EU, there were a lot of good stories in there, some good and some bad. What you have to do is pick the 'good ones,' though what that is is subjective to different people. TFA was a good start, IMO, but it was then fumbled going the wrong way down the field and it was spiked into its own goal. I would be in favor of ignoring the whole thing and starting fresh in the post RoTJ era where Mando and Ashoka reside.

    I think it showed how much he had grown since RoTJ. And it was certainly better to be battle droids rather than people. Also, just an awesome scene! And one can only hope they are going more EU rather than TFA! That's a trilogy that needs to be rewritten! And they can do EU stories, just get Sebastian Stan for Luke, Chris Pratt for Han and Billie Lourd for Leia! We don't speak of Jar Jar...

    Yes, if it had been (mostly) anyone else, the question would have been, 'Whose this? and why?' But with it being Luke, and de-aged at that, it made it workable and notable. and very entertaining. Esp when you compare this scene to his father's in Rogue One. Plus, who else of the Jedi was going to answer Grogu's call? and I recall that book with the Dark Saber super weapon. Not much else of it though, just that it was just the central laser from the Death Star, sheathed in a hull that made it look like a saber hilt.

    Starting a new project, Italeri's 1/72 SM79 Sparviero. I won't be opening it up and just going to detail the cockpit a bit, just in case I can see anything through the glazing. To that end, I'm using some Eduard PE, such as for the IP. The instructions call for light green on the interior, but I think it should be light gray, but that'll be easy to fix as it is the only painted at the moment. Thom

    I don't know, in my case I also had no knowledge of the Mandalorians and I thought the show, esp the second season, helped flesh it out for me. The stories can meander a bit though which takes the eye off the main plot. Still well worth the ride though.

    Little known fact. If you tune the Death Star laser down to its lowest power setting, and I mean low, it is ideal for a 5 minute laser wrinkle treatment.

    @tekering I have to say, I don't think this is bad enough for a major cut. Certainly not Obiwan or BoBF bad. @SwannI think she does. But maybe her species can look younger than they are, like space elves. As for the statues, they could still play a role later on even without Ray Stevenson. RIP. A scroll could mention him suddenly vanishing while in search of The Ones,a nd perhaps the character will be 'shown' from then on only as a Force-Ghost voice.

    Now I'm wondering if I'm thinking of the right show... It was flat with a central cargo section that could be jettisoned, but it's been so long ago I may be misremembering. Maybe something from Bionic Six..? Anyway, I've often thought of kitbashing an X-Wing into the Interceptor.

    @Chronocidal A very nice 'card model!' Shapes may not be 'right' but it certainly has the Firefox family feel. Maybe that was a prototype, called the Firekit. I also built some cardboard models as a kid, most notably an attempt at one of the hero ships from Galaxy Rangers, and an F-86 Scorpion made from cardboard and skinned in black electrical tape. It's been more than thirty years, so it is long gone but I recall it had a wingspan of about two feet and was able to fly across the street with a good throw! Unfortunately, it was left out on the porch overnight when it rained and the damp softened the cardboard and drooped it. Good memories though.
