Yeah, I'd have to say that was underwhelming. I kept waiting for it to actually get started, but it just seemed to go on idle right until the legacy TOS chords came in - and then it just ended. It better be written and acted exceptionally, or they've just dropped the ball on every front. Having said that, I will not be watching. Found out the first episode is on regular TV but the second is only on-line with their streaming service..? So, I'd have to pay and go on-line to see the resolution to the first episodes? No. When they get their heads on straight and just put it on Netflix in the US - as it is for everyone else!! - I may watch it, or get it from some other place after it's been on for a while. And even so, the crappy look of the ship is still a killer for me. Another thing they didn't get right...

I don't know. I would be afraid of what Disney designers would come up with. Except for most of the ships in Rogue One, they haven't been faring too well. The Storm Trooper transport, Leia's B-Wing-Bashed shuttle, the new speeders, the ginormous ape-walkers that are forty times bigger than earlier AT-ATs, the new dreadnoughts that look like they were run over by a rolling pin, and now Snoke's command ship... Their designs aren't that inspiring. I would prefer that they leave the X-Wings alone. Who knows what they would replace them with..? What I would love to see would be a re-use of old Imperial tech. Leia arriving in TFA would have been great if they'd been using a retired Tyderium shuttle. Think of the image of her coming down that ramp, almost like her father. Or if their ships were upgraded Republic cruisers or surrendered Imperial SDs. The Resistance being a non-aligned military force, they wouldn't have access to the current tech, at least not without a LOT of funding, but they could at least do better than slapping together junk parts. -

Banzai Hobby carries it, and I don't see discontinued anywhere... http://banzaihobby.com/Hasegawa-4967834658387 And looking at it, it looks like the major difference is just the outer wing section and the paint/decals. You could backdate the VF-31J to the A with a scratch built outer wing.

I haven't been watching, mainly because of the slow release of episodes and sometimes bad engrish. I also usually stay away from anything spoiler, for when most are out and some outfit has finally done a good subtitled version. But, the fleet strength problem started with the first episode and just continued with the dreadnoughts. This takes place only three or four years after the finale of 2199. At this time, I would assume that most resources on Earth would be geared towards revitalizing the Earth now that radiation problem has been solved. Which wouldn't leave much for ship production, which makes one wonder where that fleet of Kongos came from in 2202 ep 1? At the end of 2199, there was only the Kirishima and the Yamato and maybe a few other ships. (Unless there is some other medium that reveals a fleet being built in secret.) So, a fleet from nothing is not new for SBY 2202. I would hope that there is a good explanation for the sudden surge in ship strength, but even if not, I'll accept it anyway!

Please no. Really hoping this is just a promo image to showcase the new fighter. I can see reusing the main gun of the DS on a far more maneuverable hull just large enough to transport it, but please, no more Death Stars...
