  3. I've played the original, and I can't say I cared for it much. But one of my close friends is a hardcore Sega fan; he'll probably be stoked to hear about this.
  4. I remember it got good reviews way back when it came out, but I never cared to play it back then.

    Macross Books

I hope so! I actually like the pre-production MII art, it is really cool
  8. If any of this stuff actually gets implemented and it increases the costs of watching foreign films on streaming services, they will of course do what cable tv did- break things into subscription packages. For each of services we'll have a US streaming package, then a foreign streaming package as an additional cost for the users that want it. Just hope each service isn't too expensive with those extras fees. I watch a lot of the cool stuff on TCM. Guess we just need to wait and see.
  9. Hello, I'm a designer whose main job is 3D graphics. I don't know if it's okay to post this kind of data here. This is a video of a Unity 3D project that I'm working on while preparing for employment these days. I was going to use Gundam as my portfolio work direction, but I got sick of Gundam, so I turned to Macross. It's a project that's currently in progress, and it's a hobby of studying. I was going to do it with the motif of Macros 1, I love VF-0, so Valkyrie worked on Zero. I tried to make macros as it is, but it's too much to make details I got the CVN-76 Ronald Reagan? as my base carrier. Instead, SDF-1 proceeded with the concept of an emergency call warship. It's already been a year since I've been working as a hobby. If you have any sauce you want me to put in macros 1 FBX modeling sauce, please send it to me. For example, vf-0 Valkyrie's cockpit, gerwalk mode, and battloid mode You know, like a macros sauce like phalanx, Defender, Monster, or regult, glaug. Anyway, I look for implementation materials, sign up, and upload the progress video like this. I'll upload it on YouTube if it goes on in between. You're just an amateur worker, so don't expect too much, If it comes up, just watch a hobby video for refreshing. I'd like to help you if there's any helpful data. Have a good day every friend 1st process 2nd process 3rd process
  10. Thanks for the reference material. Very cool. The head on the runner is exactly like the one that came in that VF-1D fighter.
  11. i've been watching NicoNico Nonsence. it is an anime parody that's on Nico Nico (japanese site similar to youtube)
  12. Not quite. The VF-1C was an intended VF.
  13. ... honestly, I can't think of any. Macross is pretty good about establishing that anyone who jumps/falls into a Valkyrie's cockpit with the intent to fly it has at least some relevant training. Thinking back to all the major Macross titles, I don't think we've ever had a totally unqualified person jump into the cockpit in the manner that so often happens in Gundam.
  14. I doubt it would affect older stuff, but as far as the new series or other anime, then it could be a problem Maybe unfortunately, the animation budget would be way too high that way. Even at the height of the 80’s when there were tons of American Awsome shows, they were almost all actually animated either in Japan or some other Asian country to keep the costs down. I’m all for America giving animation a go again, but it’s definitely not gonna be something doable for a few years.
  15. Yeah, always saw you. got a nice gold watch or something like that. Nah, they dont put any thought into it. My direct boss at least took me out for lunch.
  16. Disney can now buy HG and produce their version of Robotech. Or buy BW and make their version of Macross. Whatever the outcome, it will be a defeat.
  17. Hondo Ohnaka, and it's not literal. More a habitual expression of exasperation (shared with the in-series characters). He's an incredibly flamboyant and theatrical pirate captain who debuted in Star Wars: the Clone Wars and managed to get on the wrong side of most of the major characters with his shenanigans. He was enough of a fan favorite that he got brought back for Star Wars: Rebels and is the host of the preshow at the Smuggler's Run ride at Disneyland's Galaxy's Edge. He's absolutely got the right level of flamboyant ham to consider a career as a talk show host.
  18. ...either that or fans can say bye-bye to Macross and anime in general on US streaming services...and that's just the Japanese anime stuff....I personally am not a consumer of anime or even Macross on D+ (I have all the shows on BD)....so if I have to subsidize D+ or any other streaming service to keep 'foreign' shows on their platforms, I will definitely be hitting the cancel button for several streamers...
  19. If it is, those streaming charges are gonna go through the roof
  20. I am a long suffering fan waiting for a new game in the Door Door series as it was the first time i ever emulated a game (it was on a sketchy flash based emulator i found on the web when i was a young kid & i thought it was simply a game that was paying tribute to Hotel Mario) here's a link to a Video about Door Door in case any of you arecurious about Enix's first game they made for a Nintendo system
