    I know that feeling. 😅 In the last 6 years? Well, the biggest bullet point would have to be the 2021 release of the second Macross Delta movie Macross Delta: Absolute Live!!!!!! with its all-new story and Macross Frontier's short film epilogue Macross Frontier: the Labyrinth of Time. That gave us a look at 6th Generation VFs and Ghosts, some info about Lady M, the fate of the Megaroad-01, a little hint about the fate of Alto and Sheryl after The Wings of Goodbye, and an array of other related topics. (Not to mention 2021 being when the Macross licensing embargo finally broke, with select Macross titles now available on Hulu/Disney+.) There's been a few more artbooks, a new Master File for Absolute Live!!!!!!'s new Valkyrie, some fan efforts to translate the Macross Frontier, Macross Delta, and Macross the Ride light novels, the promise of a new Macross series from Bandai Namco Filmworks at some point, etc.

    The problem is tamashii which bandai does not intefere with its designs. We have seen so many examples in the case of the metal build line But credit has to be given to them for the past macross line designs which they did quite well except for a few isolated cases. This does not seem to be case the recent YF-21 and M7 line which was a disappointment. They could have take a leaf from yamato/arcadia designs, improve it instead of throwing in their own interpretations

    If not after Discovery then surely after Section 31. That was absolute trash. I can't comment on anything besides SNW after that since I had no interest in anything else.

    In my experience, using DLSS to render at a lower resolution and then upscale to your monitor's resolution works pretty well now. But I avoid frame gen if at all possible.

    @wm cheng Thanks so much. I really appreciate it. 😊 The way the kit is made/parted out allows for no masking if you are feeling handy with a brush. I ended up using lacquer, enamel and acrylic. I might go back in with more enamels to brighten up some small details.

    Got my VF-25F yesterday. Very nice and I plan on getting the G later this year Wonder if they'll do a VF-171? Nice to see Macross getting some attention from Bandai's latest mold tech.

    I'd agree with you but it would need to have to transformed into something else that resembles Rodimus' car mode. That half-ass jet/Gerwalk mode pulling the trailer just looks ridiculous.

    I think Basara Prime would have been better as Rodimus Convoy. That trailer is such a giveaway, They used prime because he is far more popular.

    I saw these Toynami Morphers at BBTS and got a couple at $15 a pop. The Robotech 40th anniversary logo is on the box. I never had a joke machine or any of Toynami's previous morpher releases. Pretty cute figures, I enjoy the stupid-looking fighter mode. Impressed that we can choose to show the cockpit or the heat shield by rotating it. They're cheap enough I can leave them at my work place for fiddling during virtual meetings!

    so i just picked up Clair Exp 33 on pc and tried playing it with RTX DLSS Frame Gen, the input lag is annoying as hell. Combat relies heavy on precise timing of parrying enemy attacks, I kept dying due to the input lag. I eventually had to become a clairvoyant parrying a second early before each enemy strike.     I didn't think that far, but that sounds like the way they'd to go. Glued on gunpod skis, while the landing gears are there to dangle for giggles. Originally, I was thinking they'd design the skirts fresh, by following the same ground clearance specs. Or they could just tell us they actually designed the 22's skirts first. So when they worked backwards to make the 21. they kept those external dimensions out of equality considerations for how they knew the 22 would eventually end up...
