    Did a quick check to have my private warehouse shipped and it was going to cost $300+ yikes. I guess my stash lives in the warehouse indefinitely

    Well, if you take Master File's word for it they do a LOT of computer modeling and virtual testing before they ever move on to a physical test article. Partly because of how hard it is to actually physically deconstruct and recycle the functionally graded composite materials used in VF and warship construction. They do have enormous manufacturing muscle with dozens of factory satellites and factory ships though, so building everything is way way faster. Mass production of the F-22 took about 15 years to get to 195 aircraft. The Macross Frontier fleet ran out 156 VF-19EFs, with multiple variants including recon and command models, in about a year. Said "bulb feature" is probably the same kind of composite sensor found on the noses of other Shinsei Industry Valkyries like the VF-19. The VF-25 and VF-27 have similar types of composite sensors, but they sit higher up on the nose. (The little blue panels seen here)

    Where are these supposed to be applied? The arm stickers are already on the main VF-1J sticker sheet. Does anyone know where this set below comes from? Why would there be no UNSPACY kites on the Hikaru 1J sticker sheet? A pit should be mandatory as they are placed on either side of the cockpit. Kites do appear on the Roy sticker sheet. For the same cockpit application, as seen in the sheet above.

    Having a bit of fun. Took me like 3 weeks to take and edit the photos. Lol. A bit of cuting, framing and a bit of shop. But mostly untouched. The copy that I got displayed in armo-diver mode have super loose ankles I will transform it to Armo-solier and going to keep it like that forever. The second Leegios I probably will never transform it.

    Given the resources and manufacturing capabilities available to humanity in the 2050's, I can see quite a lot of "because we can" monkeying around with variants, knock offs, and limited run prototypes. Kind of like what I'm doing with these game models, once you have the base specs tweaking and messing around is as easy as printing out another panel from your Overtechnology makebot. Makes me a bit less aprehensive about putting my own spin on some things. 😉 Somewhat back to subject, I was looking back at the actual screenshots and turns out the line art isn't quite representative. Canopy actually does conform a bit at the front and the nose in the screenshot looks like a direct copy of the 25 with just that bulb feature on the side. I'm thinking to still change it a bit because otherwise the 24 is just the 25 with different wings, and that's a bit boring. Might be close to the intent, though.

    Same here. This means I have in-hand a Tread w/o a matching Legioss. 😕 Anyone interested in a MISB Tread? PM me if so. [I can’t recall if the Tread came sealed or not. Either way, it’s never been removed from the box, and it’s been in a climate-controlled storage until since delivery.]

    I'm not completely locked out. My brother in law lives in Japan. He's got a domestic release waiting for me next time we visit, but we don't have a trip planned any time soon.

    That sucks man, I saw one pop up on Bombusbee for little under 300 bucks and just bought it on a whim. Glad I did because it was sold out the next day. Hope BBTS comes through for you 🤞

    A key drawback is that the borders kinda obstruct your view more than the old Detolfs (Detolves? ).

    Indeed I do. The heli dude is reminiscent of a couple figs released in the past, although I forget their names. I have the toys, though. I'm curious if this is going to be its own line disconnected from existing lines or if there's going to be some sort of tie-in. The former offers more freedom for Takara to explore ideas without having to conform to preexisting designs, and I like that approach. I believe the Takara designers are a very imaginative and capable bunch and it'd be cool to see, in an experimental line, just what they could cook up untethered from any previous notions or expectations. I do wish, however, that they'd create new identities for them instead of leaning on preexisting character references. I look forward to seeing how this line develops, however, I check my expectations if they decide to do a jet, as I fear their usual lackluster approach will spoil any attempts. I'm jaded, but not without decades of poorly executed reasons.
