  1. Today
  2. While you're at it, Greg, you might as well give him the proper licence plate. I mean, if you're gonna go the distance, then go the distance, right? 😉
  3. Weathering can be a double-edged sword. It's gotta be dirty to bring out that detail, but we all know that Max wouldn't allow it to get that dirty (much less the SDF-1 maintenance crews)... It's not realistic in-universe, despite how cool it looks. 🤷‍♂️ Is that a Hasegawa kit? Actually, that's the live-action Arcee from Rise of the Beasts.
  4. That’s cool as well
  5. Thanks. I also have a Bluestreak model made from an old Arii Nissan Fairlady Z model kit. It's painted and ready to go. All I have to do is solder the wires together and create a switch and I'll be done with it. Here's an older WIP pic of it, before I put more pieces together.
  6. Speaking of Transformers, since I have a set of Autobot emblem decals, I made this Bumblebee from a 1:24 scale VW Beetle from Aoshima.
  7. Yeah, I caught a few benchmarks, and the performance seems to be just enough of an improvement to interest me but not enough to to $1000 interest me. I think if I was using a Steam Deck or the OG Ally I'd definitely bite, but I'm pretty content with my Ally X. More curious to see some benchmarks for the Legion Go 2. On the Z1 Extreme the Go seemed a bit less optimized (not to mention way heavier), but the Go 2 has a bigger OLED screen. Now that I'm at the age where I'm starting to need readers "bigger screen" is a surprisingly compelling feature.😅
  8. Consensus seems to be, it's good, But is it $999 USD good? The battery life is better, close to but slightly less than Legion Go 2. The Ryzen Z2 Extreme is a good (not great) generational update to the Z1 Extreme. The downside is Windows is still running below the Xbox overlay along with ArmoryCrate. And in the end, the price tag is probably gonna be the red flag for this handheld.
  9. For those keeping score, I'm reasonably certain that Seaspray's release just leaves Windcharger, Powerglide, Outback, Swerve, and Tailgate remaining of the Autobot mini-vehicles. Windcharger and Outback are already available for preorder in SS86 and Walmart's retro line, respectively. And I'm fairly certain that Powerglide and Swerve are both schedule for release in AOTP in 2026, so that just leaves Tailgate. Since Tailgate's a retool of Windcharger, and he's not out yet, it makes sense that we haven't heard anything yet. But I'd also say he's an inevitability.
  10. I’ve recently been seeing a lot of their stuff pop up. They appear to be doing a butt load of models from different properties. I’ve seen everything from Transformers to Marvel characters and even looks like upcoming Saint Saiya stuff. I’ve only heard about them for about a month and it seems like they have a surprisingly large selection of model kits from various franchises. I don’t know how long they’ve been around, but it’s a lot of stuff
  11. Hahaha. It looks amazing if you stand back 10 feet and squint. 🤣 I think it’s best for me to lean into it being rough at this point and hope a flat topcoat and wash will help distract from my sloppiness. I’ll get a photo tomorrow.
  12. So cool. Thanks for sharing. I’d love to see that Starscream! I always loved the voice acting for this character in the animated series I remember as a kid.
  13. The Earth/Central New UN Forces approved the YF-24 Evolution No.3 prototype for mass production as the VF-24 in 2057. The program's about 1 1/2 years ahead of the YF/VF-25 and YF/VF-27 programs by the Macross Frontier and Macross Galaxy emigrant fleets. The only variant yet mentioned has been the VF-24A, yes, and the details are predictably pretty sparse. Honestly though, don't let yourself feel "locked in" by what the official media says. The (partially redacted) YF-24 Evolution blueprints were shared to all New UN Government member governments galaxy-wide. It's very likely (bordering on a certainty) that multiple emigrant governments working with less resources than the fantastically wealthy Frontier and Galaxy fleets either opted to purchase export variants of the VF-24 directly from Earth's government or just used their own locally produced technology to fill in the various gaps left by the omission of Earth's proprietary developments and produced their own version of the VF-24 via a build-under-license agreement. There are likely a bunch of slightly different local variations of the VF-24A with slightly different capabilities depending on who built them, which could go anywhere from differences in equipment and armament to changes in appearance.
