It's recycled mass produced plastic that barely has a lifespan of a few decades. Certainly not even $400 on my end... let alone $800... š

Super Macross Mecha Fun Time Discussion Thread!
Seto Kaiba replied to Valkyrie Driver's topic in Movies and TV Series
She probably has people for that. š Her tour crew has to have a fair few administrative staff dancing attendance on her wants and needs, as well as the hotel concierge staff wherever she's staying, as well as any personal shopper benefits her black card might afford her. And if that's not enough to get through preorder madness with her sanity intact she's got Grace and/or Brera, both of whom have a literal cyberwarfare suite in their brains. Hell, in Master File, Sheryl is able to get the SMS branch in Macross Olympia to not only assign a pair of VF-25s as her personal guard but to repaint them in custom livery and change their modex numbers purely for symbolic/nostalgic reasons. (To match her and Alto's birthdays... 1123 and 727 respectively.) -
Maybe they will retool the line and bring them up to the Hi-Metal R "Votoms" quality and make the best versions out there..... someday! š¤

Same as this same. And also, same.

Probably like others, I saw the activity in this thread and, after the DX Roy GBP, thought "Maybe, just maybe, they are giving us the Tomahawk and Phalanx. And Scout Regult. And Nos-J. Q-Rau. I'm stopping myself before I get more depressed.

I think it looks good, it's a nice looking "slice" of the Death Star for sure, I don't care that it's part ANH and part ROTJ, that works for me. My main issue, it's just far too expensive, $1000+ tax for that? Yikes, I'd do, maybe, $800 max.

Don't recall this mech in any of Macross... Tamashi effects - Sold seperately.

Hey thanks. I had fun with it. I might go in and hand correct one of the main decals on top with some yellow acrylic. Not sure. Maybe just leave it be and call it weathered. Lol. Iām excited to see the Enterprise!

I haven't watched Votoms yet but the toy looks great. Are the smoke effects included or is it a separate accessory?

I like the TV version better, DYRL looks like a low vis camo tiger scheme ... LOL -
@Papa Rat - Man! That recon scout came out GREAT! Good job! I LOVE the texture of the brushing! Yeh, you got luckier than I did on the decals, none of mine survived, they all just disintegrated. I wish I had gone back in and gotten rid of the two seams on the front now where the body comes together on mine, but back then, I didn't have the skills. No pics, but the 1/1000 TOS Enterprise got detail painting finished up and ALL her decals this weekend! She's alllmost ready to depart Space Dock! š
