After release, there will be plenty available, probably cheaper than Luna Park. I still see the clear VF-1S popping up so I'm not worried about it.

Personally I wouldn't worry too much about the release, even these special web-only releases.
Wait for them to show up on the 2nd hand market, get a proxy buyer, and get it from Yahoo Japan.
Yes you will pay the 6000-10000 mark up fee, but the stress level or waiting up at 2am refreshing a bunch of web pages is forever gone.
Plus they put up the std disclaimer about it being available afterwards.

Not saying its the cheapest option for everyone, but it has worked out for me.
Plus the shipping always tends to be cheaper, as I bundle this with other items through the proxy.

Pretty sure that influences heavily the sales.

One part I wish they would update is the small peg connector inside the armor to a larger rectangular one.  That piece looks like it could break from stress over time.

I just sold my Camo GBP to another collector who never owned a Yamato GBP armour. The first thing he noticed was the fact that all the missiles were removable, unlike the new Bandai. This is a detail a really miss from the Yamatos.

So do we think yahoo japan is going to be the best option or might these show up anywhere like HLJ, Ami Ami, BBTS?

On the site it says Nov 12, so i'd say mid nov if there are issues.
The Tamashi Nations event is Nov 14-16, so there will surely be some additional pics then

This one is going to be expensive to try and get
If we start off at 39,600, then getting it on YJ there will be a 10,000 yen markup at least, and then the 15% tariff fee to get to the US.

At current exchange rate that is approx $400 USD!
Then add in intra-japan and international shipping, and we will be at $460 no doubt.
Who the heck is able to afford this

Well looking back at the VF-1J, a 4 year inflationary adjustment from 33000 to 39600 I guess it isn't ALL bad, but the dealer markups make it insane.

Thanks! Since there is only one version of this GBP, It will probably be 30% higher then retail, US tariffs don't effect me so I'm good there, but just hope it doesn't take forever to pop up on Mandarake....😱
