Actually, I like the photo as-is, with Screamer as the central focus against the sky. My comment was a bit of snark aimed at Has/Tak's usual focus on making the top of the jet look nice while the underside usually looks like a blocky bot or has visible arms hanging off the sides or worse.

I am glad you liked it, regarding to this subject I don`t thing I`ll be getting the up coming VF-19 Prime cuz how it looks under the fighter alt mode.

Right there with you. I say this looking at my gorgeous Yamato 1/60 Blazer Valkyrie and YF-19. That's a design you just don't mess with.

As much as I like the sculpt, Sentinel's really not much fun to handle in Soldier. It can be too fiddly.

Agree with the sentiment and my first release Eta has turned floppy in some areas.

I’m not exactly handling it every day.  But after dealing with a Toynami Alpha, this is still a joy to pose out (without too many limitations):

Same experience here with loose joints too. Also, the hip / waist lock keeps wanting to slide back up whenever I move the toy, it is pretty annoying.

There's the criticism of Sentinel Tread's lower legs, but now I'm reminded their Legioss also has the nearly the same issues. There's no lower leg rotation, and ankle range feels very limited. It's a challenge to find some nice poses without having the feet looking dislocated or at some weird angle..

Despite the toy not being very large, it can be made to look quite imposing.

 

(And just a few minutes ago, I noticed the shoulder sensor is mis-transformed in these latest pics. This will bug me for days to come... until I'm annoyed enough or find more inspiration to take more pics again.. sigh)

Appreciating Legioss Fighter.. its truncated slope behind the cockpit may look weird at first, but I have come to like it as one of its defining features. 

 

If I look at it more objectively, the underside can look to be a bit of a mess of various kibble - more TF than Macross.

 

But I still love it as much as any Macross jet, and that is even before it's combined with the venerable Tread.

Have you gotten a Tread yet?

Back to the Legioss, Sentinel did do a bunch of nice tweaks to really compact the fighter mode and to shrink down the length of the nosecone in soldier mode.

Yeah, it's a bit of a messy underside.  But at least, it sorta makes sense that the intakes and exhaust all follow one straight path.

Also, really wish they had painted the pilots.

Still yet to receive the Tread, but should have it quite soon. Agreed on the pilots - if it would cost say, just a few hundred yen more for Sentinel to have them painted, I would gladly pay that price.
