HWR MKII Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 After a very turbulent 2 years and alot of other stuff i managed to finish the Battroid kit my wife got for me back on christmas of 2013....Hasegawa kit straight out of the box. nothing fancy as far as finish or anything.
kajnrig Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 Ditto. For whatever reason, I like that this is very much "the model in its natural environment" instead of some of the fancier photo shoots/paint jobs/dioramas/etc. that try to make it too good of a model. ...if that makes any sense.
Petrov27 Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 looks great - fantastic build! Congrats on bring it to the finish line!
HWR MKII Posted October 4, 2016 Author Posted October 4, 2016 thanks guys. another VF-0 coming soon too
Gabe Q Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 It's great to see you posting. Judging by your previous work from years past, this one took you a whole hour to build. Seriously though, it looks great.
Phobos Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Fantastic job. I wish I had the time/patience to build one of these.
HWR MKII Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 im slowly getting back. things have been a roller coaster from hell for me.
arbit Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 So is this unpainted? Looks good Don't be misled, this has been fully painted, decaled, coated, and panel lined. He means he did not customize the build beyond following the instructions out of the box, as some experts do.

slide Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 (edited) very nice. Edited October 13, 2016 by slide
HWR MKII Posted October 21, 2016 Author Posted October 21, 2016 What Arbit said. You dont always need photoetch and resin to make a nice model.
