Iirc JL dark in the comics were all the magic users/supernatural members kicking ass.

The holy trinity (superman/wonder woman/batman) would get their collective asses kicked by this squad.

Then maybe should of called it justice league: the dark arts or justice league vs the dark or justice league: Constantine in this crap.

Any way a while back I was hearing that they were using this as a tool to see if the team wold be popular enough to finally give the OK to Guillermo Del Torro's live action justice league dark movie they planned, but had put on the shelf.

I caught this yesterday and gave it a watch. Personally I don’t like the Dark series, and personally was losing interest in this whole franchise of “new 52” series of films with the whole Batman or justice league versus stuff. And the story didn’t make sense to me. I don’t know if I missed something like another movie or what! But things were mentioned I don’t ever recall happening.

The Batman movies aren’t bad, the JL new 52 were less interesting.  I hope they go back to the Bruce Timm era, if Filoni is who people should go to for SW, then Timm is the guy to do DCAU.
