treatment Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 Ypsilon's Turtle didn't make it today, but Marshy did. Here be some picz... box don't have window anymore: with the other dawgs...
treatment Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 moar... actic gear's assemble troopers posing... in reversed... 🤣
no3Ljm Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 To be honest, I'm really not into SD-styled figures/mechas, but I have to say, those SD 'Dogs look awesome. Love the photos, @treatment.
treatment Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 Just a comment on an otherwise very nice b2five Snapping Turtle: Unfortunately, the head is static. It does not move like the Actic-Gear's gimmick. 🤨 A bit disappointing, but otherwise it's all good! 😊
treatment Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 (edited) Welp! Turns out the b2five can move and open the head on the Snapping Turtle. It was just different from the way the Actic-Gear implemented it, i.e. the head connection is actually a swivel-hinge, instead of the head-slider in the Actic Gear. It was just really latched tight yesterday that I thought it was damn unmovable fused static in place, but just really needed some little wiggle. So, I'm more glad now than yesterday. I really gotta commend the B2Five team for this simple but effective innovation! Wooo hooo!!! edit: Btw, the instruction-paper that came with this toy does not mention this particular feature and process at all. Edited December 5, 2021 by treatment
treatment Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 (edited) Ok. Fwiw, the Turtle and Marshy (and their pilot-figures) proved quite resilient and tough even with the rather rough handling by these guys... Edited December 8, 2021 by treatment
no3Ljm Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 Wave 1/35 Scopedog Battling Set [ST Version] April 2022 Y9000
Big s Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 I might be more interested in those if they had the pilots. There’s probably gonna be a ps version with all the extras, but the question will be if they get released as a pack or individually
treatment Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 more in-depth, semi-tragic english-subbed review of b2five's Ypsilon and Snapping Turtle:
Big s Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 Wave has a preorder for the brutishdog, unfortunately it’s only the standard version, so I’ll wait a few months for the ps version

Then there’s gonna be a pilot figure, full interior and downform parts. Wave really needs to quit doing this basic release, then six months later a rerelease with all the goodies.
no3Ljm Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Displayed at Bandai Tamashii Nations' kiosk at BicCamera Akihabara. Not sure what model kit line was used but those 80's mechas looks awesome.

no3Ljm Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 (edited) ThreeZero Robo-Dou RABIDLY DOG in development. Edited November 8, 2022 by no3Ljm

treatment Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 (edited) Interesting. This item's 15.9cm/6.2" height is about: just a bit under half of the 33.5cm of their original 1/12 Scopedog product shorter than the legendray 1/18 Takara DMZ-04 that's about 27cm. a bit shorter than the Bandai 1/20 Scopedog (7.5") about as close to a Wave 1/24 Scopedog (6.5") It does look quite nicely detailed with opening cockpit and pilot. No mention of metal/diecast content, "Zinc alloy diecast inner-frame", but I still hope the plastic is as sturdy as the old 35Max toys. https://www.threezerohk.com/product/robo-dou-rabidly-dog/ Edited November 9, 2022 by treatment missed "zinc alloy diecast" in the PR

MKT Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Is this the first time the HMR Scopedog being shown?
Big s Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Nice, I’m always more interested when there’s a poseable pilot
treatment Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 7 hours ago, MKT said: Is this the first time the HMR Scopedog being shown? For a Scopedog? Not really. They showed the MarshyDog variant back in 2020: https://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/topic/38846-votoms/?do=findComment&comment=1555313 However, this is the first time they show the RSC variant. As such, seems like the same height-size as the HM-R Xabungle bots.
no3Ljm Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Oooh. I'm contemplating since I already have DMZ 05 & 06 'Dogs.
Stemp Fester Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 Anyone have experience tightening the joints on the Yamato 1/12 Scopedogs? The hip ball joints in particular on my Turbo Custom have gotten very loose and I believe it is the rubber "weeping" and not providing any friction. The wheels are doing the same thing (it's like they have a slight oily coating) although the rubber doesn't actually appear to be decaying as such. Was planning on giving all the rubber bits a wipedown with some isopropyl alcohol but not quite sure if this will make things better or worse. Thanks.
