Yeah, convinced me to grab OVA2 which is all stuff I haven't seen before. I watched Chirico's Return last night for the first time... pretty amazing fights/fight choreography but there's just no drama to Chirico after the original series. Good to see the ol' crew back together I suppose but otherwise.... they should have left Chirico and Fyana alone and just placed new shows in the universe like they did with Mellowlink which seems like the only thing we're missing now.

Anyone have OTA 2? I feel like a complete idiot right now. The disc says it has the final 9 OVA episodes. It then lists 4 OVAs:
Genei - Phantom Arc
Case: Irvine
Votoms Finder
Chirco's Return

I can't find Phantom Arc on the disc though? The menu only shows the other three.. very peculiar.

There are two discs in the OVA2.

Phantom Arc is on the first disc by itself.

The paper-insert is prolly still covering it in the case.

I need this in my life...is that the Mafex John Wick and could I ask which Votoms that is?

Yup.  It's the Mafex JW and the old Yamato 1/12 Scopedog.

Ha, that was exactly it. I finished Case Irvine and Votoms Finder so I'm ready for Phantom Arc. Jeeze, Votoms Finder was awful.

whoa!

Peaugh recently reviewed some VOTOMS bots, Acid Rain's B2Five Scopedog and Brutishdog:

I didn't get 'em since they were rather expensive for SD'ish bots and, honestly, I Like Big Bots And I Cannot Lie!

However, these new SD'ish 'Dogs are quite very interesting based on Peaugh's review.

Well, guess I just couldn't resist it, so I got 'em both.

Here be a comparo of the RSC with other 1/*8's...

Just saw this silhouetted artwork of upcoming Votoms stuff from B2Five posted at TH:

Standing Turtle,  Standing Tortoise, and another Scopedog variant (Melkia, Spacedog, Odon)?

Thought it was a Strikedog at first with the obscured left-hand, but the antenna is regular Scopedog.

Looking forward to it!

Hey Votoms fans, maybe someone can help me out. Does anyone know if there was an AG-V17 release. I have accounted for the first 16 and for 18,19,and 20, but I haven't been able to track down AG-V17. I thought a quick Google search would tell me what I'm looking for but that came up empty too where as AG-V16 and AG-V18 produce immediate results. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks -

I don't think they ever made an AG-V17.

Can't find the google-entry anymore, but some fanboard listed a "TakaraTomy AG-V17 Standing Tortoise Mk2 release" posting from 2008.  Not sure if that was ever true, tho.

not sure if it's really this website (it's unreachable right now), but here's the google-result:

Wow, the OCD in me can not handle the gap! Why would they do that? I wonder if they'll drop AG-17 some day...

Not an Acid Rain collector huh?

Point taken.  Votoms stuff displays well with Acid Rain toys, owing to their similar setting.

I've been collecting the 1:18 Toys Alliance/Ori Toy stuff for years...  :good:

B2FIVE, on the other hand, sh!t the bed with their funky scale.  <_<
