Swann Posted Thursday at 11:25 PM Posted Thursday at 11:25 PM This band is better than The Cure. Was never a fan of them. Bauhaus is far more superior. Quote

I think better is a tough way to label a type of music most of the time, but I definitely like Bauhaus a lot more. Less pop more dark. I personally really love the first album by Christian Death, but if I were to call it better than most goth or death rock, there would be plenty that think that Only Theatre of Pain is horribly annoying. Or Personally think that Type O Negative is way more entertaining than Marylin Manson or that Minisistry is my pick above Rob Zombie, but I don’t really like to throw the term better as much anymore and really try my best not to use it as much these days. But there are definitely things I personally prefer over a lot of other things. Although I’m sure I sometimes still use the term better by accident here and there. Quote

Valor is the current singer of Christian Death Quote

And that’s really a band that has had one of the absolute strangest histories of any band in existence. Lots of drama, splits and dual bands and death and even a bit of a tie in story with a mass murderer thrown in as a bit of an odd side note. Quote

Yeah, there was a lot of odd stuff that came up about a month after her taking over the band. I honestly didn’t know until everything was coming up about her then. Quote

Misfits and Cramps history cant touch C,D, but P Funk could. They have strange history like C.D. Quote

Although the more interesting story for them is the post breakup. A few years afterwards is when their stuff really gained popularity mostly due to Cliff Burton always wearing their shirts and tattoos since he was a major fan. That oddly made a massive push for their logos on T shirts and rereleases of albums to hit a totally new generation. Merch alone has made them one of the most recognized in the biz and I still see plenty of skaters and punks and goths and metal heads wearing their stuff to this day. The popularity of their stuff made the brothers Doyle and Jerry Only want to reform the band. Of course Danzig was already huge with his own career and really didn’t take too much interest until recently leading to a revolving door of vocalists. Again lots of clashing before things cooled down enough for a somewhat proper reunion. Quote
