The 1/48 GBP seems able to bend the knees, I saw a very very cool gerwalk version with urban color GBP. 1/60 GBP, however, could not bent the knees backwards, can only make very very stupid gerwalk mode...

GBP Superman never put his hands on his crotch! Well, there's little space for both of them....

yeah yeah. should upgrade to dslr soon. in the meantime,

M&M vf-22s no-flash(pic-6) vs reduced-flash(pic-5)...

Granted, I just got a DSLR myself.

But even with a regular old point-and-shoot, you can still get some good pics. All you need are:

  • A tripod or something stable to place the camera on (absolutely essential when taking no-flash pictures with a point-and-shoot);
  • Some good to adequate lighting; and
  • The macro feature on your camera (the little rose/flower icon/dial selection).

Until very recently, practically all the pics I've posted on the board have been from a cheap old Fuji FinePix digital camera. They may not the greatest pics, but they definitely get the point across B)):

Yup. Pretty much got all that. My p&s is just getting really wonky now (especially with its digital-zoom) due to age, I reckon.

Now all you need is Battle Frontier aka Battler 25 (come on Bandai hint hint) ;)

A Battle 7 from Yamato would be just as good (but probably better).

I am gonna say it... I have the Macross Quarter, but I HATE how it looks in "cruiser" mode. Its like they didn't even try to make it look like a ship. Battroid is cool though. A Battle 7 or a Battle 25 would both be awesome! Now THAT is a cruiser mode.

The Quarter FAILS when it's off the stand.

See which one poses better in battroid mode though...

Yamato-SDF-1-11.jpg

DX-Mac-Quarter-10.jpg

Bandai could have done better with cruiser mode but having it be designed to be a flying "X" meant they had a lot more work cut out for them. I wish the Quarter was more of a flying brick like the original SDF-1 as that is how I think a cruiser should look... and ought to make for more stable toys.

Yeah, why can't the SDF-1 do karate poses???

Oh wait, IT ISN'T SUPPOSED TO.

What's your point? I say "The Mac Quarter is more fun to pose in battroid." You say "The SDF-1 isn't meant to be fun!" We haven't disagreed... but you've managed to get testy about it.

What was your point supposed to be? What are you going to complain about next? How a yamato valk doesn't turn into as good of a semi as an Optimus Prime toy?
