Its a shame if he lost it, though because it seems to have some kind of positive effect at the same time that Sheryl was getting into her song at the concert. Some kind of mystical crystal perhaps? After all, they are just probably dummies with the most basic AI after the whole Sharon Apple fiasco. Of course, all that fiddling around is probably why he go captured in this episode. The wonders of OVERTECHNOLOGY... The VF-27 seemed to be trapped inside of the Vajra ship along with Luca. Wowowowowow, best episode ever - looks like VF-27 is not Vajra nor Galaxy Fleet, probably its Mr.Birla private unit. Mmmh... Folding back to Galaxy Space? Doesn't make any sense to me, since they were already in Galaxy Space... Also the VF-27 destroyed Luca's Gunpod just when Alto was trying to release his VF-25 from the "tentacles". It used some sort of energy weapon. It seemed it didn't want Alto or Luca to leave the Vajra Carrier... The VF-27 also escaped just when the MQ fired its main weapon at the Vajra ship. To me it seems that the red VF-27 is with the Vajra (as well as the 2 green escorts that appeared at the end). I noticed some strange symbols in the "Leader" VF-27. I checked the Zentradi Reference. Those symbols in the red VF-27 are similar to Zentradi, but not the same... PROTOCULTURE? The cockpit seemed very very advanced. Since Brera Sterne (who is the pilot of the red VF-27) was playing AIMO with an Armonica at the end of the episode, I wonder if there is some connection between him & Ranka? Episodes 8 & 10 will tell... This episode rocked my world. I noticed a lot of connections with Macross Zero/Seven... (TECH & MUSIC!!!). I was expecting this kind of action since the Deculture Edition. Finally we see SMS/NUNS kicking the enemies ass... I noticed how Bobby seems to dislike NUNS officials/organization a lot. Perhaps they made him the man he is today? (Btw... Screw Mikhail, Klan Klan, Ozma, Kanaria or Alto... Bobby Margot is the MAN!!!!) P.D.: To those who claim this episode had bad animation/art... WTF? Purple like Lap Lamiz's ship, Green like the original Q-Rau power armor, orange like... Uh, orange... And reagarding Macross Quarter's maneuverability, just remember how fast Britai's ship 180-ed at the end of DYRL. Definitely watch it. If for no other reason than the combat montages and Bobby's "Yaaaaaah!" moments (mostly coming at Cathy's expense) . I really do want a typical-these-days-quality RAW to pop up, though, for avatar-brewing purposes...but I can wait a little longer for that. Funny that I didn't notice that before, but I think you're right. I suppose Britai's maneuver in DYRL could be taken literally, but I always felt that was more of a symbolic sequence meant to quickly show he'd switched sides rather than any indication of maneuverability. Personally, I think the Macross Quarter is much faster than the other Macross ships because they built it much smaller. It explains why the Macross Quarter is only about 400 meters while the old SDF-1 was 1,200 and the the NMC is 1,500; because they wanted something much more nimble. I liked this episode and all but i wonder if they're going to keep this design of characters or if they're going to change it back to normal again.... ^-^ lets just cross our fingers for the best huh?
