Beware of Blast Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Persians cannot afford Spartan earth & water, they get 1/55s for free instead.
Beware of Blast Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Remember us... (for we're the original 1/55s).
Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0 Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 LOL Leonidas is saying:"WE ARE INDESTRUCTIBLE, KID NOT HURT US, WE HURT KID!"
Fortress_Maximus Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Funny. So anyone else have any real pics of the 1/55s? Thanks!
izzyfcuk Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 While mucking around, i came across this on the web it's from http://www.abctoyworld.com/index_files/RM0099.htm
Beware of Blast Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 The 1D is still randiest valk of them all.

That is awesome. I just emailed them to ask about the custom box and where they got it printed. Maybe with some luck I can finally produce Kicker773's custom Yamato 1/48 VF-1D box afterall!

nightmareB4macross Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Wicked I noticed that they also are doing vac formed inserts somthing I considered doing a while ago. The vaccuform tray is actually from a Joons box (or any other knockoff that had this type of insert).

many_feedbacks Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 izzyfcuk Thanks for your info. $350 for an impossible to find 1/55 VF-1D is very good deal. I am a little late and someone else bought it. While mucking around, i came across this on the web it's from http://www.abctoyworld.com/index_files/RM0099.htm
izzyfcuk Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 yup, the site's quite old, had i seen it, i'll have bought it
big F Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 (edited) Ohh !! Shiney goodness looks like new and still has the pricetag on. Oh I remember the days that these babies could be bought for £25 in my local toy shop. shame I never had the money in the 80's to get one. Curses for only having a paper route for a job. AcroRay Posted May 23, 2008 Posted May 23, 2008 Very pretty! I'm curious - why aren't the Millia 1J & Standard 1A's hands extended? Not a big deal, just wondering.

Beware of Blast Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 It's the quest for perfection. The thrill of the hunt along with a host of other nobility sh!t that commoners will never understand. Money is certainly no object. Not implying that izzyfcuk is showing off though... I'm not rich but I can understand how he thinks... hopefully.
izzyfcuk Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 Guys, Don't get me wrong, not trying to show off or anything. been collecting for just over ten years now, during this period i went through what i believe what most have gone through or are going through, "buy buy buy" syndrome, being a "completist" etc. heck i used to own every single 1/48 and now im left with only 2 and 1J with GBP and a Low Vis ver 1. The rush of knowing a new valk is coming out and getting it in hand, slowly the feeling dies off...(thinking the dough could be better spent on other stuffs in life) this keeps going on and on in the last two years. End of the day, the old skool valks are the closet to my heart and i would like to preserve them in prestine condition. once im done with that, i can say im done with toys and oh, btw, im a virgo

And thanks to this tear, I'm now a proud owner of a Bandai 1/55 VE-1: The tear we mentioned about: How much it used to cost: Pity that this VE-1 will never transform again. It shall goes into retirement in my display cabinet.
