  1. Wow, it is the real old school anime in 1982!
  2. What is the major difference between the old Yamato 1/60 VF-1D and the new Yamato 1/60 VF-1D?
  3. Anyone knows what is the stock quote of Toynami? I am very sure its stock price will go rocket high AFTER release these real deals!!!
  4. It is hard to tell the new VF-1A head is perfect match or a little small until we see the entire VF-1A Valkyrie in battroid mode. The VF-1S head looks more like Yamato VF-1S head. The VF-1J head looks more like Toynami VF-1J head. I am VERY EXCITED to have the 1/55 scale VF-1D. I hope they use the same material Bandai 1/55 Valkyrie using, not 100% plastic. They release 1/55 scale Pod too?
  5. Where we can place order (or pre order) for the VF-1D?
  6. That is cool you found a chart of comparison between Gundam and Macross. I think Gundam got popular than Macross in many countries because there are more Gundam animation than Macross animation. Hopefully, Macross Frontier will help getting more Macross fans.
  7. What is your budget range? Unlimited budget for the real collectibles?
  8. I can see VF-1J and 1S. The one all the way on the left is VF-1A?
  9. Watch out, this is a bootleg.
  10. If I get laid off from my existing job, I will go to interview in Bandai. I will talk to Bandai CEO and suggest Bandai products Macross 1/55 VF-1D. Alright, get back to work.
  11. Is it possible we contact Bandai to release Macross 1/55 VF-1D? That would be great for all Macross fans!
  12. I submit more pictures to my Macross World buddies regarding the new re-issue VF-1J and VF-1S. I am surprised the price plus shipping goes up to $100 a piece. I think it is too much compare with the early 2000s re-issue.
  13. I am a little late joining this forum. Spending half day reading many comments, pictures, news, and opinions from page 1 to 14. I have somethings to say. 1. Everytime I hear the word "Macross 1/55 Re-Issue", my first impression is that "Where is the VF-1D"? I bet many people would never understand why Takatoku Bandai never release VF-1D since 1982? I bet most of us MUST buy VF-1D if it eventually comes to the market. 2. There is NO surprise for this re-issue VF-1J, VF-1S, and VF-1A with fast pack. I do not see and do not know what is the exact difference between the re-issue valkyries in 2008 and the re-issue valkyries in 2002? There are few Macross friends mentioned the fast pack comes with the VF-1A looks like the fast pack comes with the re-issue VF-1S Super in 2002. 3. Many of us hopes Bandai re-issue VE-1, VT-1, and GBP-1S armors. I do NOT understand why they will re-issue them in 2008 but not 2002? IN MY OPINION, the chance for Bandai to re-issue VE-1, VT-1, and GBP-1S armors is 0%. 4. Most of the serious Macross Robotech collectors are between 30 to 40 years old. We were kids when Macross on the TV in Japan 1982 or Robotech on the TV in US 1985. How many of us have money to buy Macross Robotech toys at that time? What I mean is for most of us, we only do Windows Shopping when we were kids. We saw the toy and the box through the window of the shop. In order for us to refresh our childhood memory, I think we need both the toy and the box. It is something the re-issue can not compare with the original. many_feedbacks
  14. I would love to have a fancy looking, nice details, double seat VF-1D comes out to the market. There are way too many VF-1J and VF-1S out there.
  15. goo ysl I am proud of your collection. Same as you, I use glass shelfs to protect my displayed valkyries. Based on my experience, do not put any yellowing valkyrie too close with the pristine white valkyrie. Few years later, you will know why. Please stay away from sun shine and cigarette. They are the killers for your collection. many_feedbacks 4/25/08
  16. izzyfcuk Thanks for your info. $350 for an impossible to find 1/55 VF-1D is very good deal. I am a little late and someone else bought it.
