Seeing as how Episode III will be released later this year, I found it quite odd to find out that another Star Wars film is being released on April 16, 2005 in Baltimore, Maryland. And by fanboys at that! I wish I had found out about this earlier, because I would have reserved tickets to see it. I live 30 minutes away from this theatre. Anyways, there is a movie poster for it HERE and you can download a trailer for it HERE. If you feel that the acting in eps I and II are that terrible, at least you have to admit that it's "good" terrible. This acting is poo with some neat-o video agme-grade special effect thrown in. I think it has more to do with the script, Lucas apparently can't write a decent script to save his life. Not to mention, the romance scenes bewteen Anakin and Amidala in EpII proved that Lucas has no comprehension on how people actually interact with each other. The trailer was technically impressive, but the acting sucked and it looks like a boring movie. I've recently figured out that fan movies are just dumb, especialyl full-length ones. You go to all this effort, but you still end up with a derivative work you can't really call your own because it's based on somebody else's creation. If people have this much skill and resources, they'd be better spent creating their own original works rather than trying to make their own stupid Star Wars movie.
