Just finished watching it... if it's alright with everybody and the mods, I'm opening another threat to talk about it: HERE

Alright, I just finished watching the movie... just some thoughts: What's cool: 1) Go Go Gadget Combining Blades!! 2) Homage to Knights of the Round 3) Longer motorcycle fight than the Matrix. 4) Vincent 5) The Rock What's not: 1) What's the whole idea of the movie anyway? 2) "One-Winged Angel"... with guitars. 3) The pacing seems... off... 4) New Bahamut 5) Cloud now looks like a pre-teen Japanese pop star... Let's start the talking people! Addendum after second viewing: I guess it's a *nice* thing that Square placed the movie before that last scene in FFVII (replayed with a new render at the beginning to jog our memories a bit)... apparently Red XIII's kids weren't born till about 500 years after Cloud's last duel with Sephiroth However, I still don't see the point of the movie... Sephiroth is a pushover, JENOVA doesn't show up except for a few new renders... the movie is really more about Cloud's personal guilt over Aerith's death than anything else. Once he gets his poo together, he starts to kick ass, and end of movie... which doesn't make sense, since at the end FFVII Cloud had already resolved all of his issues ("I'm not alone anymore.") IMHO, the movie is really meant for FFVII fanss to wet themselves silly with all the characters that show up and the sword action. It's cool... but that's about it.

I think the most oft used statement would be: "Real Life has taken up a lot of time." Not that I'm pressuring them or anything A lot of mods these days are taking a loooot of time to complete as games get more and more complex... now that I think of it, aside from CS, DoD, and a few mods for Morrowind, most mods never get completed.

Well, that depends on which of the accounts you read... according to the more historically accurate one, Cao Cao is actually portrayed as a cunning, capable, and honorable ruler. The other one, being more dramatic and somewhat mythological in how it portrays the people, sees him as deceptive, ruthless, and driven. However both agree that he was a very smart and talented individual.

Get Alpha 3 and the Alpha Premium pack... I'm working through Alpha 2 right now, and aside from the need to flip through dialogue translations every now and then, it's a blast! I went with the Zengar route... "Ware wa Zengar Zombolt. Aku o tatsu tsurugi nari!" Hate picking favourites though, since you're limited to how many squads you can have, grrr.... Oh, can anybody give any pointers on how to fire off combo attacks? The only one I've successfully fired off Chakra Extension, and that's cause the game set it up for me

After seeing the new trailer, I gotta say... this just might be interesting. But I can't help but think: a lot of the scenes look like they came straight out of Doom 3.... at work so no chance of a closer inspection, but any chance they actually used the game engine for the trailers?

Yeah, I remember that... most of the renders are stuck on the old board, and wolf13 doesn't seem to come to the boards anymoore. There's a cell shaded version on the first page of the CG threat, and a link to his homepage on the same page though. Best SDF-1 ever.

Man, college were my crazy addiction years... recreational substances, games, pizza and coke, more recreational substances, more games... we lived on 4 hours of sleep during weekends, all the rest were marathons of SC & CS... Somewhere in there it all started getting boring... right about when Warcraft III came out, and I rediscovered the joys of interaction with real people, reading a book, etc.. Well, now I work, and like ogami, sleep is far more important than OMGWTFPWNZ-ing other people. Addendum: and seriously, games over SEX?? man that guy has serious issues... my gf was part of the reason for my cutting back on games At the very least, do like my frat bro did in college, both at the same time
