Sue was attached to the Shadow Fighter MPC because there were no named characters piloting one in the show. It's part of the theme of the line. Annie LaBelle never piloted a Beta Fighter as far as I remember, yet she still got a Beta toy.

KitzConcept certainly has huge plans with this, the 1:55 Monster and the whole rumoured 1:55 line. I just sure hope that they also deliver in the end.

Well, yeah, the home media and streaming rights for SDFM are at the moment in the hands of Amazon, so the premise in the original post is not correct. But exactly which sub-licensee under HG that would release this proposed edition is a bit irrelevant, I think.

Do we know if the arms that hold up the two Lilldraken when they are not mounted on the wings are put on the same base as the Draken III or on separate bases? I'm assessing my display space. I tried to look back the last few pages, but couldn't find any pictures that showed it.

Anyone's guess by now. But since the VF-1 with it's comparably simple transformation needed partsforming, I just assume the complex transformation of the VF-2SS will need partsforming too. And then they could as well include some plates to hide that ugliness.

For probably being a partsformer, the undercarriage of the HMR VF-2SS doesn't seem to be that much of an improvement on Evolution's attempt. Those big screws look bad.

Am I the only one excited for the black armored VF-1A? It's from one of my favorite action shots of the show, I gotta have it! I hope Bandai makes the blue Phalanx from the same shot too. I would be really disappointed if the artillery Regults are just add on parts. Oh, and bring on the Destroids already!

The UUM-7 missile effects looks even cooler than the reaction missiles, but I would have preferred if they were for AMM-1s instead.

Cool effect parts! I hope they release a TV version Super VF-1S or loose Super parts for my VF-1A CF so I can pair with them. (I'm gonna stick to TV versions in my HMR collection and I don't want the inaccurate Max and Milia, so not much else to pair with them).

I'm dead certain Arcadia will re-release their VF-0S some time after the armor. They are stupid otherwise.

The same could be said about Toynami's 1:100 line and plushes and those threads remain in the Toy section. Also, mecha outside of Macross Saga is only hypothetical so far and given HG's history, not particularly likely.

There's been threads for Robotech branded toys in the Toys section before that's never been moved. It's still inconsistent.

No, Macross 30 doesn't deserve to be animated. It's story was often just as bad as Delta or FB7. I don't know much about Macross the Ride's story, but it at least got some cool mecha variants and a fresh racing premise going for it.

Well, it's significantly larger and would likely make a more impressive display piece, as well as match scale with the Yamato/Arcadia/Bandai DX Chogokin Valks. I'm in the camp that's been largely underwhelmed by the HMR line - partially because they are so small. Also, your language is totally uncalled for.

It's definitely not perfect, but it's also still just a prototype.

The Monster has been known for a while, but it being part of a whole new line is new... and interesting. Robotech merchandise is known to become vaporware, but with another company in charge, I'm mildly optimistic.

I'd say if you didn't like neither 7 nor Frontier, you will likely not find much of interest in Delta. Test a few episodes by all means, but you better go in with really low expectations.

Great, Sketchley. It wasn't aimed at your translations in particular. But in general, the fanbase seems to have adopted the americanized spelling. I just wanted to make sure that wasn't the canon spelling, like the horrendous "Xaos" instead of Chaos.

So I'm just wondering if the spelling "Lil'Draken" has ever been used in an official Macross Delta work, making it canon? Otherwise, I'm sure it should be transliterated as Lilldraken instead, which was the inofficial name of the Saab testbed aircraft that would be developed into Draken. "Lil'Draken" seems to be an ugly Americanization to me.
