  1. That is correct, I can not order to print just one sheet. Nice pictures VF-18S Hornet, you did a good job cutting the kite circle.
  2. No doubt the new 1/100 VF-1 line from Bandai looks pretty. I will wait for the mandatory VF-1S. I am also waiting for the YF-19, my favorite valkyrie after the Vf-1S
  3. Yeah, The 1/48 Super Stealth and Low Visibility are the best. I sold all my 1/48 line except those two. Forgot to add that they have become very expensive. Rare to find these days.
  4. I think he meant it looks funny with one leg in and one out of the thigh. I didn't know about this new hip joint system. It is certainly an innovation of the ones used by Yamato and the old ones from Bandai.
  5. That is right, this is the ultimate. The next custom that can surpass this one has to transform by itself.
  6. It is ok for this post to be in the toys section coz it has more fans. Moreover, it should be on every section of Macross World.
  7. Please make a Youtube video of this masterpiece in HD!!
  8. This is sick, perhaps the ultimate 1/2000 SDF-1 customization. Your work should be on all the japanese model-kits magazines, simply amazing. I would have this masterpiece insured, very valuable custom you have there. I also like the colors you used. No disrespect for Kurt's work but his SDF-1 customization was a bit off, not much contrast as yours. And the vibrant colors you used for the Macross city is phenomenal. The other details are also incredible. You should receive a medal and trophy from Yamato for the best 1/2000 SDF-1 customization ever made. Best Macrossworld toy post in years. Congratulations!!
  9. Very nice scheme, this will probably be my first 1/60 VF-1A.
  10. This is a nice room decorated with Macross Frontier goodies and a bit some from Macross 7. Macross Frontier room
  11. Yes, on the first minutes of the movie, when the Macross population is shown on a shopping street of the SDF-1, there is a spanish conversation of a couple. You can barely hear a man saying something like "no esta muy fea?" meaning "isn't it too ugly?" and the response of the lady is loudly heard saying "pero esta linda ..."meaning " but it is pretty." This dialogue is probably referring to an item that it shown on a store.
  12. The key to not damage the nose paint is to put the head neck all the way up. The nose cone can be pushed in deep enough for the chest part not to scratch the paint.
  13. Got this toy yesterday and it is the best perfect transformation valkyrie Bandai has ever made. It is beautiful; the markings, the shiny plastic, the aesthetics is beyond superb. The box is very nice and the poster gift is a plus. The only complaint I have is the instruction booklet. It is too small and with that you have tiny pictures with instructions in japanese that makes it difficult to comprehend. If I had to put a score on this toy, I would give it a 10. Buy it if you have the cash.
  14. No, it should've been made of metal. Even if the problem was the knurled pin, the piece is still very delicate to manipulate.
  15. Got mine yesterday and replaced the shoulders hinges. It was not that complicated. Now my version 1 VF-1S is officially version 2. Graham, you're the man
  16. I don't know what is going on with pilots on toys these days. Way back in the 80's toys came with highly detailed pilots; not painted, but with nice quality. Now we get a piece of chewing gum inside the cockpit.
  17. Just paid, sent an extra dollar as mine goes way overseas. Thanks Graham, you're the man.
  18. That is the new GBP porcupine
  19. The smoke effect looks really nice on the Strike Valkyrie. But it has to be airbrushed to add depth, otherwise it looks like foam instead of smoke.
  20. I took a look at my 1/60 valks and all of them are ok (VF-1S Hikaru Strike, VF-1S low vis, Vf-1D, VT-1) no stress marks nor cracks on the shoulders. But I don't play with them, I treat them as model kits so they are in a fixed pose all the time. Just for curiosity, I pull out the pin of my low vis VF-1S and it has no knurling. But my VT-1 had it, however no stress marks. First time I manipulated the arms. Just in case I took both arms apart, sanded the knurling and problem solved. Anyhow, Yamato should have made the whole shoulder piece out of metal. The plastic is too thin and too weak for transformation. I know, the post says pics of broken shoulders, but just wanted to make a comparison of the smooth and knurled pin.
  21. I will wait, I ordered this for Christmas and I will keep the spirit of opening gifts on the 25th Just a teaser
  22. It just arrived!!! And thank god it came directly to my house, no customs extra charge. Finally I can complete the Macross Plus trio. Thanks HLJ for the wonderful sale just in time for Christmas. It is still in the plastic wrap, should I open it or wait the 25th 12:00am?
  23. VE-1 for me, but VF-11b is arriving next week. Reading all the nice comments on this valk, it will be the best Macross toy purchase of 09.
  24. I hate the hamster pilot pose. Yamato should make a better detailed pilot. I made this long time ago, my custom 1/60 pilot.
