That VF-0A looks great, the color scheme looks sharp. It is weird that HFH wants this different than the Macross Zero OVAs. Perhaps new OVAs or a video game are in the making showing this new scheme?

It is hard to believe that so many Macross toys have been released this year and many more are on the way. Yamato is exploiting the VF-1 to all variants possible. I think we will see a Kakisaki valk at last. When all the variants are issued and reissued, Yamato will release the two seated VFs (prediction)

And that was the mistake Toynami made. Why not going with the flight version in the first place? I think there is going to be a flight version whether this action figure sells or not. Toynami knows the flight suit version is a sure seller. Watching the quality of this first figure, it is going to be very cool. Again, the free int. shipping offer is very tempting. Substracting shipping costs, the figure would cost me around US$55 which is a descent price for a well made figure. Still have one more day to decide. I am predicting this Toynami figure will cost twice in a couple of years, so why not going for it. Perhaps I should buy two

I like the figure, looks really really nice but, incomplete. Toynami should have delivered the flight suit version with the blue uniform as optional. That would've been the ultimate 1/6 Hikaru. If only the box looked like the vf-1 master pieces, that could have also justified the lack of accesories. Still tempted to buy it, the free international shipping is a good save (the pop up ad. is hooking me up). But if a flight suit version is coming, then I prefer to save for Hikaru, Max and Roy in the flight outfit.

Like Arnold, the YF-19 said: "I'll be back" and finally, it is here. This is great news. I can guarantee this YF-19 will be toy of the year. I just got the VF-0S and Yamato is making great progress in quality. Now Yamato has all the experience and knowledge to make the ultimate YF-19. I am pretty sure the VF-11 and YF-21 are already made, all with fast packs. Yamato can not release all at the same time because they don't want us to be broke in one year.

I used my own set of VF-0S stickers that I just made and will be for pre-order soon. I will give the details on a new topic this weekend. Yamato used the kite symbol scale of the old 1/60 VF-1S and for me, it is too small. It looks much better if you use the kite symbol of the 1/48 as I did on the nose of the zero

Just got the Yamato VF-0S and looks amazing. The toy is in perfect condition, no complaints except for the joints in the arms that should be tighter or with a clicking mechanism. Size is perfect, the quality looks better than other previous Yamato toys, tampo markings including the one on the control panel are a mayor plus. I think this is the best macross toy released so far.

That is the only thing I complain about this toy, why the skull mark on the tailfins? A quick way of getting rid of it is to fill the skull emblem with a sharpie permanent marker and on the gray part fill it with a pencil (paint will be better of course). When you apply the sticker, the skull is no longer visible. According to this graphic, the blue-red roses valk emblem on the tail fins should be like this:

Here is a new set of pictures of my favorite 1/48 valk. I am glad Yamato did not tampo the skull emblem on the heat shield. I hope the Stealth gets cheaper soon coz I want to buy another one!!!

I just got the Super Stealth valk and I love it. It is without doubt my favorite 1/48. Here it is with my new set of custom stickers soon to be released. Red Roses Super Stealth:

The more I see the LV2, the more I like it. I don't think the original LV2 stickers will come up with a new insignia, so I had to make a new one that will go on the stealth sheet.

Well, I will wait for the release of the LV2 and see what the markings are. I guess there won't be anything special. So far I added UN ARMY and I am creating a new insignia just for the LV2 that will go on the LV-stealth sticker sheet. I also decided to go for the GBP armor sheet. It does not have all the markings but I think they are enough to decorate the GBP and the price will be cheaper.

I can add UN ARMY but I will need to sacrifice one of the other UN markings. I think I'll change UN NAVY for UN ARMY.

This is my new set of stickers I've been working on. Now you have 1/48 VF-1 with VF-0 1/60 stickers in one sheet. I also made a new 1/48 sheet for the Stealth Vf-1J. I hope to have them ready for sale in two weeks. Price will be the same:US$10 per sheet. I am thinking of making stickers for the GBP armor, but don't know if there is enough demand for these.

I want this GBP but the price is insulting. But now I am afraid that this will become more expensive coz I only see only two on ebay. Should I wait a couple of months or just buy the damn armor?

I also need one, but I think the tentative price is a bit high. Also, I have an Elintseeker. I am only missing the armor (don't need the wings and head)

Isopropilic alcohol is the best if you want to remove sticky residue. It does not damage plastic. Just be carefull, very flammable.

That looks nice. If you add a sculpt of Hikaru and Minmey from the first Macross episode then I will buy one for sure.

I was thinking about that too. You can only buy the Max reissue from Hong Kong sellers and with shipping it can excced the US$120 price of my local hobby shop. They also have the Hikaru and brown reissues at the same price, they might not know the Max and Miria have more collectable value.

My local hobby shop is selling a reissue Bandai 1/55 VF-1 J Max for US$120. I am tempted. I know the vf-1j max has more value but, is US$120 a fair price for a reissue?
