They live in Detroit and the mother gets "transferred" to work in China. I think at times Jaden's delivery is a little flat on his one liners but for the most part I think he did a great job. I agree on the running time since this is more of a family film, I find it hard believing that little kids will have an easy time sitting through the whole movie. The one thing that this version has over the original is that it's much more heartfelt. Daniel could come off as a whiny punk but when Dre complains that he hates being in China it's easier to feel bad for him. Probably given his age.

Okay random thought I had one day, for you board old-timers, do you remember that old thread waaaaaaaaay back when the v1 1/60 cannon fodder was released at TRU first and we all put our names down for what numbers we were going to put on our CFs? Well I think that thread has gone the way of the dodo like the rest of the old board but I thought it would be fun if we could take a big group picture of CFs at MWCon10. So for anyone coming, can you guys bring a CF whether 1/60, 1/48, or even 1/55 so we can take a big squadron pic? Anyone interested in doing this? Back on the old board I had 240 for my designation but I'm gonna claim 24 now.

I'm not crazy about the suspenders either but at the same time I like them because it gives his torso the whole red and white stripes look. The costume is pretty blah. Oh and was this discussed but why is he the First Avenger?

I'm pretty sure he said he was making one so he could fit in all the stuff that he couldn't fit into the original. I think he was on AOTS to promote the DVD when he mentioned that.

Those are from the gashapon sets from....Bandai?. I think there were two or three differnt sets. The Tomahawk is fromt he first series and the Q-raus are from the second I think. There's also a glaug.

I voted destroid and Mospeada invid just because I figured the Glaug would win anyway. Just want to show support for those two items too. Of course if I had to choose between the Destroids and the Invid I'd probably go Invid because Mospeada really gets no love

I saw the first series a few months ago. The new comic version of Iron Man is sweet and it's actually a different mold than the classic IM from Marvel Universe. Did they drop the price on them? I saw the newer wave last night as TRU and they were only 6.99

If I lived there I'd get those. Better than most kid's meal toys in the US nowadays.

What involvement did Toynami have in creating the MPC Cyclone other than the new head sculpts? Or are you counting that as creative involvement?
