    I have the Yamato VMF Minmay, and they are indeed works of art. Not cheap, and very eccentric for a colector. That said, they will always make a display stand out and be conversation pieces. So, I have Minmay and she needs some girlfriends. I think these will do perfectly.

    I sent an email to ask for details about the update, and got a response about the balance I owed and the statement that it'd be around November. That said, final payment has been made and I now am in wait for the helmet.

    I just got the Sheryl Black Bunny from Figuarts Zero ad quite happy with it. the paint and sculpt is a pretty high quality. One more to add to the vast Sheryl collection.

    That's pretty damn cool. Is that from one of the Sheryl figures that you can pose? In any case, it looks nice.

    Can't wait for this book. IMO, some of the best valks made came from Plus. We got the 11, the 19, and the 21, and those opened the door for a lot of new stuff. I want to design those pods for my 21/22s.

    I use a spare unpainted, unassembled kit. It was much less expensive as it is now, but if you look around, you should be able to find them around.

    Got the issue of Dengeki Hobby. That's one sweet work. Not much of a fan on this color for the armor, as I think Macross the Ride had the armor in a more shiny look, to mimic the look of armor a "Knight" would wear. This one doesn't seem to have that flare.

    Glad the new pics in Dengeki Hobby confirm what I had though. I'll need to recast the rear armor piece to hold the lance. I'll need some rework on mine.

    Yes, got mine as well. Solid, sturdy, and great tampo all throughout. Not big on the tail fins not locking into place and being so far back attached by only that tiny piece on the wings, but it's still a great toy.

    Mine got here straight from Japan, and is now in customs in L.A. Should be here Monday or Tuesday.

    Just a quick pic of the framing of these two. Absolutely love it. Had them put in UV protected Glass. Very happy with the way they turned out.

    Thanks for all the pics. I like the fact that it actually looks like a beefy, "muscular" valk, instead of an anorexic girl trying out for a modeling job. It looks like that in the arms and the angles they put on it, as well as the upper body. Still not big on the tail fins sticking out as they do, but definitely better than my initial thoughts.
