    Thanks gentlemen! Hey, you do it if and when you feel like it/have time. You're doing a huge favor for the community and we appreciate it! We can ask no more than that. In any case, I'm waiting till after I get the PF in hand before considering decaling this one as I want to see what markings go where. I'm not sure if I have the VF-4 master file book lying around anywhere... because I can't remember if I ever bought a copy.

    Did the paneling on my VF-4A. The lines are super fine and shallow which makes doing a simple wash next to impossible. But damned if I don't absolutely love that fighter! And finally put that Arcadia stand to good use. Now she just needs some decal work.

    Let us be glad that AJ doesn't use an ass backward system like what @Anasazi37 described above, considering how far in advance we have to preorder a lot of stuff. God forbid someone has to replace their credit card in the intervening months!

    Well, I'm still going to panel wash and decal her up. But I will maintain the factory fresh look. Nothing like that new valkyrie smell!

    I'm eager to see how your VF-4A turns out! For my part, I'm thinking of just leaving it as clean, pristine fighter because that's how I saw it in FB2012 and how it's always existed in my mind for the past 35 years.

    Sure do! Though I think it will be a separate accessory set with a possible 1J reissue to go with it. I think Bandai will balk at releasing a a 35k+ yen bundle because people will balk at a 35k+ price tag. Thanks @no3Ljm! I just wish Bandai wouldn't overlook such basic details for a high end valkyrie toy.

    Glad to be of service! I think it would be quicker to list what is on the valk rather than what's missing. Pre-printed markings: - upper stabilizer skulls/background - ejection seat warnings - rescue markings - air intakes - UN SPACY on the legs - pilot name on the canopy frame - UN Spacy kite on the port wing - UN Spacy kites behind the cockpit - beam guns/yellow arrows on both arms - 101 modex near the cockpit - UN SPACY on the gunpod That should be it. If I missed anything, someone else please chime in. Yeah, glad it was addressed on the 4A. Not sure how the joints are on my Yamato; I haven't transformed it since I customized it.

    Arcadia VF-4G vs Arcadia VF-4A My Arcadia 4G reissue is fairly loose and have to be careful about it doing the splits or falling over. It was like that out of the box. On the other hand, the 4A joints are pretty tight. I noticed they seemed to have enlarged the "hook" in the neck section and I had to push way harder to collapse the neck into its proper place, inadvertently scratching the chin a bit. Nothing that can't be sanded out later.

    Sometimes we're our own harshest critics. I've grown a little dissatisfied with it over the years, it seems. I'll try to do better with the Flashback version. So no one who's ordered from Amazon has gotten theirs shipped yet? That sucks, and It's surprising for Amazon to be so slow.

    Shipping just the VF-4A from HLJ is 4k for DHL. I even got a discount coupon in the package since I got in right at the start of their current promotion. Some quick shots from the hangar. Love the FB2012 paint job! And having Hikaru in the proper flight suit. When I get home maybe I'll do a side by side with the VF-4G and HMR versions before I take her apart.

    Opened mine today. FB2012 VF-4 is one of my absolute favorite fighters, alongside the YF-19 and VF-25, and Arcadia's is just lovely. Not much to add that hasn't already been mentioned. Needs a panel wash and gotta find some decals... Is that a gunpod or are you happy to see me?
