    I think so, though I bought 2x units, which offset the costs and ended up being a wash. I'm only going to get one YF-19, so unless the HLJ mark-up is way higher than 4 or 5k, it'll probably be better to order from them. If they even carry it.

    Maybe with the HLJ discount coupon I have plus cheaper shipping it might come out a little cheaper even with HLJ's mark-up... maybe...

    Haha thanks. But it's not a fair comparison to compare my slow, careful handiwork to some factory employees who have to mass produce them. And the color of the lines are actually dark grey and not black, and it's not as stark in person as it appears in photos. Certainly much darker than mine, which was made with pencil lead and concrete wash (which is a much lighter grey). Arcadia probably used something like this for the panels: https://www.tamiyausa.com/shop/enamel-detail/panel-line-accent-color-6/dark-gray/ Yes, many of the markings are NO STEP and DANGER and other such generic aircraft markings. Ohhh I'm looking forward to seeing them! As mentioned above, there's a lot of various warning markings all over the craft that make it more like a real world aircraft. It does say MEGAROAD-01 on the lower stabilizers and there's the reaction generator markings as well. See @tekering's earlier photos to see all the various markings. Yes, it looks pretty good in hand, especially if you don't have a carefully hand-lined unit to compare it to.

    Three PFs is a little excessive, even for me. I'll probably only get one YF-19 PF. That thing ain't cheap!

    Just arrived. Looks like they didn't go too nuts on the box size after all. Shipping was still pretty steep.

    Haven't played much with my YF-19 but my VF-19 had weak ankle joints too. I took the whole thing apart and reinforced then joint. Now my fire valkyrie has amazing ankles.

    Thanks! I'm liking it more and more now that I've spent a lot of time with it. Yeah it does look like a toy or partially completed model kit.

    Mine shipped Wednesday. I guess it took a couple of days to find a bigger box for 2x units? Hopefully it'll be here tomorrow. Shipping cost was nuts and I'm hesitant to order the YF-19 PF through them if pretty much all the savings evaporate due to high shipping. I'll wait and see how much it costs through other retailers.

    Not my favorite battroid, but it's grown on me. 4G color scheme is so bland, though. Should probably do some paneling on her so she doesn't look so plain.

    I'm in the same boat as you. I hate paying for an express shipping method only for the company to sit on it longer than it would take to make the trip halfway across the globe.

    Oh I know. This exact same conversation, with the same pics and article links, already took place when the HMR version came out. It makes about as much sense to me as UNT SPACY on older gunpla models.

    Looks pretty good. I'll have to wait till I get it in hand and put it side by side to really see how it compares. If you do make them I'll take a few sets. Those grey-nosed 4Gs need decals too! I can live without those, but won't complain if they're included. It's a bizarre designation; I'll stick with SDF-2.

    DHL or Fedex shipping for two units was pretty steep. Shipping one unit fast and another via slow ferry would have cost even more than shipping both DHL/Fedex. Wanted at least one unit in hand so I can see how to proceed on my regular edition.
