I wouldn't expect any Megahouse figures until after the series run. In addition to what's been said above regarding Ichiban Kuji figures, also keep in mind that they vary wildly in quality, ranging from barely above ufo catcher prize to almost on par with full retail figure releases.

Learned my lesson after paying a mark-up for the first YF-29 super parts to always get the web exclusives when they come out, even if I don't have the valkyrie yet. Most of them are still reasonably priced, but the really high demand items (like Ozma's armor) are gonna cost an arm and a leg.

They're web exclusives that Bandai has never reissued and probably never will.

Preordered one for myself. My current Roy has been customized and never transformed since then in order to preserve the finish. I may keep this in battroid since it will have fixed shoulders and side covers. My old one is better for fighter mode as it has the tinted canopy.

Oh, I put my impressions in the VF-2SS thread. But to save time, here's the condensed version: It's a steaming pile of crap. -
Not even 5 minutes in and I already feel like I got ripped off, even with the 50% discount I got. Just a floppy mess right out of the box, screw cover fell off right away (glad I noticed and saved the cover), and as a final dingleberry on this crap sundae, the instrument panel is glued on crooked. Looks and feels extremely cheap and shoddy. I'd be pissed if I had paid full price for this thing. Gonna take a lot of work to make this thing look presentable.

Finally finished my SDF TV squadron with Kakizaki! Even has the rainbow canopy! Yay! As for the VF-2SS... I'm going in with extremely low expectations, so let's see just how disappointing it is... -
Just watched episode 3. Was wondering where that picture was from. Guess Bandai can now release a DX VF-1EX. I'm very curious to see how it'll compare to the Yamato VF-1.

They said I could change to SAL then promptly sent me an invoice for 480 yen. WTF? Even SAL shipping is now higher than the previous EMS price? That's such BS.

Got the same email and an invoice for $11 for ems shipping. Nuts to that. Asked them to change to SAL shipping. Already too expensive as it is.

Nice! How's the canopy? Did a valk inventory and noticed that my DYRL Max 1A is the only Skull squadron member that doesn't have the tinting. Great. Now I have to hunt down an older one that does have the rainbow tint. These are the kinds of valk issues I obsess over!
