I know full well what Bandai "meant" it to be but it's still wrong because I don't give two sh**s what Bandai intended. Calling an arm a leg does not make it a leg. Even if I were to accept that this was the movie version, it's still not accurate to that version. It's wrong twice! If they're going to do that crap, why not just release Max and Miria in slightly different colors and call them the "DYRL" versions? With that said, I'm eager to have a proper Hikaru 1J because who the hell else pilots that particular color? Not some unknown grunt who didn't even get any screen time, that's for sure.

It was already pretty obvious that the V1 VF-25 was going to be crap from the promo pics, before it even came out. And they turned out even worse than anticipated. I think Bandai has learned from that and is capable of actually putting out a decent valkyrie toy on the first try now.

I only just now noticed that the Tomy Tech kits are prepainted and only need to be assembled. I preordered all of the Delta kits available. Hoping the final product looks as good as the promo pics.

That Alto looks fantastic with the flat coat! I have the same issue with flat coats: they scratch very easily.

Yes, Bandai had better continue the use of matte finishes they started with the YF-30 and VF-19. The gloss finish makes all their previous valkyries (even the renewals) look cheap next to my Yamato valkyries.

Yeti does it again! I really liked the Armored Klan figure from Mega House, but I absolutely hated the rickety triple stand system it used. It was a pain getting everything lined up and leveled, and god help you if you should ever need to move the damn thing. No more! The new beta stand was just what I needed to breathe new life into a figure I had given up on and put away into storage. And the SMS etching is icing on the cake! Best stands ever.

If you use flightpose stand, you have to be super careful that the rubbery tips are not in contact with any painted surfaces on your valkyrie. I don't know what the hell it's made of, but it will eat through paint if left in contact with it. Be aware that even the clear jewel parts are often painted too. Heck, I left my old Hi Metal VF-19 on a flightpose stand just for 1 day and it ate into the red plastic and left some visible marks. I don't recommend flightpose stands at all. Do yourself a favor and get some Yeti stands!

For the love of god do not use any chemicals to strip the tampo unless you want to strip the white stripe off too. Number 3 is the safest solution.

Releasing Delta HMR toys now would undercut their DX sales. Why would Bandai do that to themselves? Maybe in a few years when the DX line is done.

Yeah it's easy to remove. You have to remove a screw under the pitot tube and another inside the landing gear bay. Then it just comes right apart in the middle.

Yup! That's why I have 3 (or was it 4?) Ozmas and 6 Altos.

Clear nail polish also works well. Just open up the joint and apply to the ball and socket.
